I know we all still need figures to complete classic X-Men teams like X-Force, Excalibur, Outback, AOA and Starjammers BUT....

would you like figures based on the new From the Ashes era? And if yes, what figures/teams would you like to see?

I would like if Hasbro released waves for each specific book and then some deluxe figures here and there.

For exemple:

X-Men wave:

Cyclops

Beast

Psylocke

Quentin Quire

Temper

Magik

BAF Juggernaut

Uncanny X-Men wave:

Rogue

Wolverine

Gambit

Nightcrawler

Jubilee

Calico

BAF The Horse

X-Force wave:

Forge

Betsy

Askani

Sage

Surge

Deadpool

BAF Tank

DELUXES:

Storm with many power accessories and stands

Magneto in the chair

I haven't ready any of it and am tired of waiting on Hasbro to finish Reavers, X-Force, Generation X, AoA etc. for another era.  But I do like the big guy Tank from X-Force.

Would take Armor, Rockslide, Holocaust and many others first though.  Not a priority for me, sorry.

Sharing this promo poster here for those who, like myself, are perpetually 10 years behind on comic events and aren't super familiar with From the Ashes.

For my part I'd be most interested in figures of the new/younger mutants that haven't been made before, moreso than the long-timers. I recognize Oya in the middle and would love a figure of her. I don't know the other three on the right, but the internet tells me they are Bronze, Melee, and Axo. Figure announcements would definitely push me to read a few books to learn about them.

Of all the regular X-People, Shadowcat's new costume is the most interesting, and I'm not mad about seeing Beast looking more like his old self. Juggernaut always makes for a good figure, and I'll buy any and every Nightcrawler they make.

I'd mostly be interested in the new characters. I've only picked up Uncanny so far but most of that cast are wearing costumes we already have in Legends.

But I'm not opposed to some Legends love for the current era!

Don't personally need any of the From the Ashes looks.  I'm still convinced Tank is most likely Colossus.  I don't like Oya in general just being a Human Torch/Iceman hybrid.  Cyclops' outfit looks more like workout attire he couldn't convince anyone else on the team to wear, and I'm not a fan of the visor as it just reminds me of Bebop from TMNT.  Emma looks like she's riding an inflatable raft in that promo image.  I guess Beast is better in that he's not evil, but bringing back his Avengers look with the rings around the eyes just makes me think he has low iron.  And all black suit Juggernaut with all his features obscured to me just makes me think of an oversized gimp outfit.  While I tend to prefer a more animated/expressive art style in some cases like Joe Madureira and Greg Capullo, Ryan Stegman's art just doesn't fit these characters.  I particularly dislike the look of Psylocke's energy sword being drawn like a kebab or someone's bound up linens or Spiderman's webbing.  The guy whose name escapes me doing the Wolverine/Rogue/Gambit book is probably the only one of the bunch I think portrays the X-Men well.  It's a shame they didn't get someone like Clayton Crain or Mike Choi to do one of the books.  Plus Magneto being powerless and paralyzed like Charles and confined to a chair while the X-Men just lie to outsiders and act like Magneto is their ace in the hole tells me they're out of ideas already.

I'm enjoying the books, but I wouldn't want a Krakoa-style wave. As renfield said, we already have most of these costumes. Or better versions of what they have on (literally the whole Uncanny team).

I'd take Temper, Kitty, and maybe the new mutants. Magik is a huge want of mine, but not in that fucking costume.

FTA is the first time since the 90s Im not reading any books, not a fan of the majority of the new looks or their direction, so it’d be a pass for me and I’d buy most anything x-related (except Feral ugh).

I'd think about some of the new characters. But the rest of those looks aren't as good as what we already have. Juggernaut looks interesting at least.

I’ve only checked out the first x men issue and though I didn’t hate it by any means it didn’t really grab me. I really liked the krakoan age though, plus it’s hard to follow up something that ’ big idea’ driven I’d imagine. None of the looks on their own particularly jump out at me at the moment, so I’d probably be more keen for FTA to find its feet a bit before getting figures, personally.
always up for more current/fleeting looks as a general rule though (would love the winter red she hulk or whatever she was called for example).

Looking back on it, I wonder how much big contemporary tie-ins in Marvel Legends are at Marvel's initiative, rather than Hasbro's? Did Marvel come to the ML team with the idea of doing a "House of X" wave to promote their big overhaul of the x-franchise? We rarely see that kind of synergy with comic events, with figures coming out almost simultaneously with the books like an MCU wave.

I'm personally way more focused on and interested in classic looks in ML, but I have to say more tie-ins seem like a smart move. I'm personally more likely to have my interest piqued by figures being made, and while I was aware of House/Powers of X, the wave definitely pushed me to start buying the books. More general themed sets (instead of one or two related figures) also seem like solid ideas - give people the chance to build a small display around a theme, instead of trickling out one or two related characters.

I'm on Marvel Unlimited so I haven't read the main books yet. Juggernaut's look is incredible though. I'd buy him.

Storm, 100 percent.

I'd be interested in the new kids from Exception and the Simone book too, but Storm is my priority. Love that redesign.

I haven't read the From the Ashes stuff yet, but while I won't champion it yet, I'm sure I would buy at minimum the new characters. That said, I'd really like to see more Krakoa era figures (Synch, Cypher, X-23 etc). They could even do wave upon wave of Krakoa characters if they ever seem starved for figure inspiration for sure. A Hellfire Gala wave would be cool also.

I think Hasbro needs to wait for a new design to be tried and tested before throwing it out there as a figure, they've gotten better in recent years but is there really much demand for characters like Chasm, Hallow's Eve, etc.
