And Morph is on the table if done well. If it's the old Morph with a new head then no thanks. Could not care less about the rest of the wave.
If it's a lanky Morph like he should have been I'll be using the old VHS jacketed body to slap an extra Banshee head on, since that Morph and Jim Lee's Banshee had similar belt buckles. I've already removed the cel shading from the VHS Morph, so having a jacketed Banshee without the cape wings for the Jim Lee era display is on my list of things to do, since he and Forge were largely support / mechanics during a portion of that era.
Wave 3 feels pretty solid, if true. Sounds like they're going all out more or less. I'm totally cool using the pre-existing Beast we have as a stand-in. He's close enough. I'm really excited for a new Jubilee and Morph; both are long overdue. Wonder if they'll throw any interchangeable heads in with Morph; I know he changes his whole body, but could be a roundabout way to get a new headsculpt for a different character.
I know Xavier will be the wheelchair version, but part of me is hoping they'll throw a curveball in there and go with the Shi'ar armor. Not sure if that would warrant a full deluxe release, though. I guess it comes down to how different it is from the regular comic release; I'm cool with that as a stand-in for now.
Bummed the main villains aren't included. I know we got Sinister not too long ago, but Bastion would've been a great inclusion. Especially as season 2 moves into bigger, badder territory, I hope he doesn't get overlooked completely, or they pull a fast one and throw him in as a last minute incentive for the Sentinel.
Nervous but hopeful for Rogue's re-release. She's the last one I need for the team to feel complete. Since Gambit got a quasi re-release/restock not too long ago, I can see the figure being released alongside her being wave 1 Magneto. I never ended up grabbing him either, but I'm cool with the wave 2 version for now. But I wouldn't be mad if it is Gambit; lots of folks are still missing him.
Yeah I really want the Shiar Armor Xavier too. Dwight mentioned it in a stream so I could see him coming and it's not like they won't do multiple releases of characters. We've seen it with Magneto and Wolverine already. Maybe they could do removable armor and a small wheelchair?
The Zabu Cable is basically the season finale version, I have no interest in that. He should be the original look. Go from there. Bastion should be a deluxe.

The Rogue pre-order, for anyone who missed it. Currently on sale for $18.74 (supposedly- part of me does wonder if that's a mistake). Got mine pre-ordered. Now to hope my order doesn't get cancelled in the next 8 months!

Crazy that they made this target exclusive when it's a re-release of a general release. The price was very nice, ended up being 15 bucks for me. Hope that isn't too good to be true.
Thanks, Target. Thanks, Hasbro. Very generous of you.
Hasbro produces more figures to meet the demand and then Target puts the item on sale to ensure even more demand. Make it make sense.
Especially crappy of them to make her a Target exclusive, considering they're re-releasing Gambit widely. Not like there wasn't widespread demand for her. The show has torn them apart, even in plastic form.
Does anyone know how the Target exclusive stuff works? Is it on a figure by figure basis or does Hasbro agree to give them "X" amount of exclusives per year? I definitely could see how Target might want Rogue as an exclusive and maybe pay up for her which explains why she's there and Gambit is elsewhere. It sucks for collectors who want her though since she seemed to sell out fast, and while not as bad as Walmart, Target doesn't have the best track record either when it comes to cancellations. It's just too bad, because in terms of demand I think Rogue is clearly number 1 and it would have been nice to see her get the same wide release as Gambit.
I mean, even if we could have gotten a day and time that they planned to put her back up, that would have been nice. I never had a chance on this. They could have chose to rerelease her ANY way they wanted to make sure people who wanted her got her. Nope.

It's more than likely a stunt for now. As for the folks saying they weren't notified, Dan Yun had put out on social media a couple times that someone notable from 97 would be put back up for order similar to Wolverine. I think I was seeing that it would be Rogue around 2 days ago? I would imagine she'll be exclusive to Target for a while and then you'll start seeing her back on BBTS at least, if not Amazon as well. Let's remember, this is an ongoing show, and if anything they'll likely keep releasing Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, Gambit and Wolverine as the show begins to pick back up. So you may not get her for a while, but I wouldn't worry about NEVER being able to get her. People thought the retro wave Symbiote Spiderman was their one shot, and we've seen 2 similar ones since.
but I wouldn't worry about NEVER being able to get her.
This is accurate. The likely way this goes down is: it gets closer and closer to the actual release date, someone on the Minnesota Toy Posse FB group posts a picture if a sighting, my radar goes up for the next week or so, I hit stores armed with a DPCI or I wake up early and get lucky finding a store with "low stock" and an order pick up goes through. This is how things went down with the last couple of releases like this.

I don't think any of us know for sure, but I've been assuming the latter. I haven't counted every store exclusive for every year, but it's usually around the same number per store per year. I know for sure Walgreens got exactly four per year, one per quarter back when they carried Legends, but it was more irregular for Target, Walmart, and Amazon so I'm not as sure with them.
Quick and dirty info using the exclusives page on Legendsverse - I'm not checking for completeness, so fair warning.
