I changed up my displays a little this week and ended up breaking out the X-Men ‘97 and X-Men: TAS figures into separate displays. I this is works well if you’re looking for ideas.
Interesting...
Maybe a restock?

I hope it's Morph and Jubilee.
I'm going to muster all my optimism here and hope it's Wolverine and Rogue. I have a bit of passer's remorse with that first wave. This is some nice news going into the week.
I'd consider getting another Rogue since mine had to be fixed paint wise. And i would just throw maybe the retro head on the old one or something and see if I like it.
I might buy another Logan if given the chance.
One of them pretty much has to be Rogue, no? Wolverine would make the most sense as the second, but I can also see it being a Rogue and Gambit thing.
My money is on Rogue and Wolverine. Gambit is a possibility, but I don't think he's as highly sought as Wolvie seems to be. I could see maybe Bishop, but that could be my bias as I think he's the best figure from the wave.
If they reissue anything from wave two, it's gonna be Cyclops. I think he was the one I saw the fewest times in person.
Wolverine and Rogue are the only two that would make sense to reissue. If Hasbro is paying attention and listening to the fans there would be no way to mess it up. So it's far from being a lock. Like I say, though, I'm holding on to all of my optimism.

The "only two" is a pretty bold statement. They could sell plenty of all of them except X-Cutioner & the two Magnetos.
They're under a ton of pressure to produce profits but they leave $$ on the table all the time - how Dwight still has a job is a mystery for the ages.
He said "I didn't want to make Sentinel two-packs" at SDCC and they sold out in a day - and went back to production recently. Meanwhile, they've left hugely in-demand X-Men '97 and Spider-verse figs in one & done runs.

I don't consider that a bold statement at all. If you ask any fan to order the 97 X-Men line from most to least popular, no one will have Wolverine and Rogue anywhere besides the top two spots. If you're a company trying to make the most money on reissuing two figures, those two would make the most sense. Hasbro knows who the two most popular figures from this wave are. We'll see what they do.
@normdapito Bishop is still in stock in some places so I'd be very surprised if he got a re-release. Storm and the Magnetoes seem easy to find still as well.
From Hasbro's perspective, the figures eventually sold out (though there was the clearance-happy Target that aided that) so they're probably perfectly happy to have that happen than have too many of these things out there. And now there's built up demand for some of these figures to get reissued so I can't see the X-Men '97 distribution as a failure on their part. It's frustrating for the consumer that missed out, but it looks like they'll get a second chance. Most manufacturers would rather have too few than too many. I guess anyone still holding onto a carded Rogue and thinking of cashing in better do it now.
It's Wolverine and Rogue. Target exclusive 9/27 at 9 AM EST. Spring release so this is a new production run. I would assume if they do well then more figures will get a re-release.
