Isn’t Logan canonically pansexual at this point? Like didn’t they all-but-say he was in a poly relationship with Jean and Scott on Krakoa? At any rate, I find Morph’s obvious affection for Logan, requited or not, to be very sweet.
Also I hope we get both 97 costume variants for Morph, and lots of heads.
I'm no polycule expert as a [pan] monogamist, but I was under the impression that two heterosexual men can be in a polycule with a woman without ceasing their heterosexuality. Just because they're sharing her, doesn't mean they're with each other? (And again, that is a perfectly logical option, just saying it doesn't have to be the only one.) Like, "my girlfriend has other boyfriends, but they're not my boyfriends, too," y'know? Lol
And I'm not still looking for wave 1 figures because "I turned them down when they were easy to find, then the show won me over, and I'm looking to correct my mistake." They were not easy to find in my stores, and never went on clearance, so when I could find them, I couldn't afford the $25+ (because the biggest & best selection I found were at specialty shops, who always charge above MSRP).
I wanted Wolverine, Storm, and Magneto. I only saw Magneto & Rogue in stores like Target (my Walmarts never carry anything I collect anymore). I have Wolverine thanks to my favorite collectible shop giving him to me for $20. For Wave 2, I wanted X-Cutioner, Madelyne, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler. I saw none of wave 2 anywhere. I have X-C & Maddie because of Pulse preorders.
I'm seeing wave 2 at GameStop and Macy's TRU. Might be worth a check.
Looks like the hottest wave 2 figure is Cyclops. He's been popping in and out of stock at BBTS pretty frequently for over a week. If you still need him, I'd refresh there periodically.
I've seen plenty of passer's remorse on FB lately with wave 1. Pro tip if you're asking around on FB for figures, leave off the qualifier, "for a decent price" in your ISO post. This is a tipoff that the aftermarket price has gone sky high and on the off chance that I don't know what I have and I'd be willing to sell, now I have an idea that I could get a lot for it. Besides, "reasonable price" is subjective.
I'm still seeing Storm, Bishop, and Magneto pop-up here and there from Wave 1. From Wave 2, it's been Maddie, Magneto, and X-Cutioner. Since these are at Walmart or Target it can be hard to know if they actually got a new shipment, or if they just never put some of these things out. All have gone through resets and stuff has a tendency to be discovered in the back during such events. I haven't seen Rogue or Gambit in a good, long, while and I still have never come across Wolverine or Nightcrawler. I think I've only seen Cyclops once. Everybody except Wolverine from the first wave were clogging pegs in December until Target put them on clearance, but Wave 2 has consistently sold out ever since the show premiered. Prior to it, I was seeing a lot of X-Cutioners and Magneto.
@tsi I am surprised by your statement. Disney has had a lot of gay characters lately. One of the main characters in Strange World, one of the main characters in Eternals, and a side character in the Buzz Lightyear movie.

I didn't see Strange World or Lightyear. Eternals is exactly what I'm talking about. Until they make a Jedi or Disney princess gay, it's all lip service. A small piece of dialogue or two background actors kissing doesn't make for actual representation.
As far as Eternals, the only gay character in the MCU is the fifth-most important hero in a film that will never get a sequel. It's the safest possible choice. They can avoid criticism for having zero gay characters without endangering the brand. Who's the most recognizable Marvel character in Eternals? Dane Whitman? A maaaybe C-list Avenger?
Strange World bombed and Lightyear almost definitely lost money. They're also animated movies, not franchise tentpoles. That all matters.
They're moving very slowly on adding gay characters. We literally only know the character in Lightyear is a lesbian because her wife is visible through an open door or something. And it was still enough to get a bunch of people all upset. It's like giving Harry Potter credit for making Dumbledore gay when it's never mentioned in the books or films, just a thing the author came up with after the fact.
No new episode today, obviously, which feels like a void in my Wednesday morning stationary bike ride, but they did add an "Assembled" episode on the making of the show. It's okay, I mostly enjoyed hearing from the old cast members and how excited they were to reprise their roles and see how big the original show had become. I don't think they even mention Beau DeMayo, so whatever went down between he and Disney must be a rather bitter thing. I also thought it was a bit odd they interviewed Jennifer Hale about the role of Jean and approached it as if she had never played the character before like they don't want you to know that other animated series about the X-Men exist. It was fine though, not exactly in depth, but a decent encore of sorts if you're bummed the season is over.

Yeah..... the thing to remember about what Disney is doing is that they're queer-baiting cowards. They'll put stuff in their movies that they can get into a trailer, or that people will talk about so there's fuel for 'see, Disney DOES believe in inclusivity!' But that stuff is also SO shallow that it allows bigots to say 'Disney is just doing that to shut up the WOKE LEFTISTS!' And also, making it shallow allows them to cut it all out for non-US (particularly Chinese) releases of their films so they can pander to countries where bigotry controls what is even allowed to be shown in theaters.
So let's go real gentle on proclaiming that Disney has really done... anything. At all.
Also, I'm sticking with Logan and Morph have banged. No one will convince me otherwise.

I don't have any real interest in defending Disney here, but it's worth noting that all of the movies mentioned (Eternals, Lightyear, and Strange World) were not released in China, and were banned in several other countries because of the (extremely modest) depiction of gay characters. I believe Disney rejected requests to edit the movies to appease local censors.
Also - are bigots giving Disney a pass for having even a hint of gay characters? Didn't they actually totally lose their tiny minds over a single peck on the lips in Lightyear?
I know Morph presented as male in the original animated series, but since then they seem to have embraced the fact that they can turn into whatever they want. I mean, would Wolverine having sex with them even be "homosexual" behavior for him? Morph could be shape-shifting into Jean every night and banging Logan, and I don't think he'd have any issue with that.
That having been said, Logan seems like the kind of person who would be pansexual overall, though leaning into more heteronormative relationships. He's lived a long time, so chances are he's had a few dalliances with dudes, but only had serious relationships with women. That's just my armchair psychologist view on him though, and I'm nowhere near an expert.
Now, back to toys...at the very least Hasbro needs to send out refresher cases for Wolverine, Rogue & Storm. I never once saw Wolverine in any store, and would definitely have snagged him if I'd seen him in the wild. I only saw Storm & Rogue once in stores.
Not my picture, but this was one of the area's Walmarts back on 12/29. This store isn't that great and a little out of the way, so I hadn't been there all year until this past Sunday when I went to a comic show. They had a handful of Storm, Bishop, and Magneto left on the pegs.
My Walmart had a Rogue hanging around until episode 3 or 4 was released. I kept thinking about buying a third, but passed.
X-Men 97 got me on a big Nightcrawler kick. I've always liked him, but this show put his Catholicism out there with him praying the Rosary and making the Sign of the Cross. He and Daredevil are the only two Catholic superheroes I know of, and DD's religion may or may not be swept under the rug at any given time depending on the writer. Me being Catholic, I loved it. Had his figure came with three swords I would have sprung for it.

Is Logan a power bottom?

This is approaching 80's Children's Palace level of on-hand shelf stocking. This would be unheard of at any of my local Walmarts. Fun just to look at.
