I ran into Jean over the weekend and figured why not? It's not an impressive release. The bottom half of the figure almost looks unfinished compared to the rest because of the bare, orange, plastic in use. I know some of that is due to the design of the costume, but I bet it would look a lot better if the sculpted in grooves were filled in with a dark orange. The downhair portrait has a bit of an uncanny valley expression, but the ponytail one looks suitable. I don't like that her forehead is miscolored blue, but at least it's not visible from a shelf. I think it looks pretty good though on the old body. Yes, the cowl is blue rather than black, but it looks okay to me. I could always paint it, I suppose, but I'm unlikely to.
Where did that much-more-accurate Morph headsculpt come from? Can't believe Hasbro whiffed those so bad.
Also, speaking of Morph heads, did anyone else not know the upcoming DST Animated Morph bust is coming with two head options and an alt hand? I did not!

I think Xavier is going to be on the Hank Pym body from the West Coast Avengers boxset. Probably will be new lower arms for the sleeveless look and maybe a new headsculp. I don't know if the previous Xavier fits properly on the Pym body.
I watched the first two episodes and I'm happy with the way it turned out. There's enough nostalgia for us old folks who watched the original series decades ago but also enough stuff for people who didn't grow up watching it.
I watched it this morning and found it to be outstanding. Skews a little more adult than I was expecting and I don't mind that at all! Really, really loved it!
I was very pleased with the first two episodes of the show. The first episode felt like a reset and the show getting its feet wet while the second really setup more of the conflicts to come this season. The action sequences were really well staged and I think that's going to be the biggest improvement this show can boast over the original. I do hope we get some character focused episodes to come that spotlight the members of the team in a more intimate fashion. I always felt that was the original show's greatest strength in dealing with such a large cast.
Of interest to toy collectors, looks like X-Cutioner's (pronounced Executioner in the show) gun is supposed to feature that clear, cylindrical, piece over the barrel. Hopefully a bunch of people didn't toss it thinking Hasbro included it to protect the item in the box.
Show is amazing, the complete feeling of this just picking up where it left off was perfect, I thought it would be janky but they did such an amazing job with the voice acting, and the action is unreal, I kind of don't even care for live action x men anymore lol just keep doing this. And storm... Omg that was badass

Wore my X-Men t-shirt under my work clothes today and one of my students came with an X-Men sweater. I had to get a pic of us together. Can't wait to watch it tonight.

Agreed, it’s why I’ve resisted the urge to buy a second Morph to toss a new head on. The show also made it plainly obvious that the wave 1 Magneto is undersized. He’s actually larger than Cyclops in the show.
