After seeing the sentinel clip I feel as strongly as ever that we need a retail release of a toon sentinel with swappable damage parts, I think it's the closest we've ever been to a retail sentinel, that scene was really great

I'd be quite happy if they released the basic line sentinel with added articulation. That's like, my perfect iteration and scale. I know in TAS they are much bigger, but Hasbro would probably try to meet in the middle anyway.

@tenime he’s not beefy, just has more human musculature and greater than 0% body fat.

Got Goblin Queen and finally figured out who she looks like - she's got a Kate Winslet vibe in the face!

Clarify that for me.

Heck, I still have my ToyBiz Nightcrawler. I also have the Wendigo Kurt as well, but I still love that old TB figure enough not to get rid of it.

He has a wired tail for posing, he also has articulated fingers and toes, plus he has ratcheted knee and elbow joints that are all still tight. A lot of people didn't like the head on that figure, but I always did. I think it's a really well done sculpt with a lot of personality.

So, bottom line is I have two Nightcrawler figures that I really like, and I just don't know if I need I third. Especially since he's almost the exact same figure as the previous version that I already own.

Personally, I think the new Nightcrawler is much better than the Wendigo wave one because the pinless limbs are less likely to warp over time (I've had a lot of figures with pinned limbs where the joint is really gummy).

This is me, word for word.  I still have and like the TB for all the reasons you said.  I also have the Wendigo version  with a Dave Cockrum Casting Cave head on it.  In a perfect world I could pick one and sell the other.  All I do know is that I definitely don't need three.

@yojoebro82 I'm legit thinking of selling the new heads on the old body. Of course being honest that that is what it is. See no reason for him to sit in the bottom of a bin

I love the hair on the 97 version. Wish it was going the same way as the art on the package. 🙂

I got my 3 from BBTS today. Really nice figures.

The colors don't match on this Jean from the old one, so I won't be swapping heads. Luckily the body isn't bad on the new one, besides lack of diaphragm joint. Otherwise the sculpt is nice. The heads are good, I like the faces. I scraped the blue off the top of her headgear on the pony tail figure, but it still looks weird. At least now it's accurate to the sculpt. I may repaint it back or mess with it a little more. I also wish she had a fist for her left hand. Having 2 open hands in different poses kinda sucks. And the hair is extremely orange. But that's how it is in show, so I get why. Just looks off from how the old one is, dark red. And the pony tail doesn't like to stay in when I move it. A little annoying lol.

Scott is nice. I like this body for him more then Bucky Cap now that I have him in hand. The straps on the legs don't bother me as much. I thought they would, but I'm ok with them. I don't hate the heads, but I do prefer the older heads, and funny enough, the Love Triangle pack head is the one that matches closest color wise. It's hard to tell the difference. I did have to drill it out a bit to make it sit lower. I didn't wanna have to mod anything so the head could be swapped back to the old figure if I wanted, but it still fits the old body fine, just sits a smidge low. Painting it would've made it unstoppable, so that's what I really didn't wanna do. The chest strap is...odd... on his abs. I get why they did it the way they did. I just think it looks weird in some poses. But I have no idea how it would work otherwise besides doing it like the old belt and alot of people don't like that apparently. I just hope Cable turns out at least close to this, but he has other odd issues with his straps that look odd.

Maddy is the standout. She is really good. The sculpt is nice, and the face looks great. I don't mind the thigh cuts as much as I thought I might. They're not super distracting, but odd they didn't find a way to make it at the boot top. Her skin is a little too pink, but it's not bad. Her heels kinda suck, so she can only really stand in neautral, but I'll mess with posing her more when I put her on a stand. The cape is also mediocre. It's rubbery, but heavy. It doesn't pose, at all. And it kinda gets in the way. But its not awful. It looks nice at least. The Cable baby is... there. It's fine. But feels like I've seen it somewhere before...

Mixing these with comic figures doesn't look bad, so I think that's what I'm gonna stick with. All in all these are nice figures. But I didn't buy all the other ones cause I like the comic ones more so to have a full team, mix and match it is lol.

I wasn’t going to go all-in on wave 1 but changed my mind when I found them on sale. They’re really nice looking.
I got wave 2 a couple weeks back and love them as well.
looking forward to a third wave. Hopefully we will get Morph and some new characters.

Looking for any ideas on a good (comic accurate)head swap for the new Magneto figure. I’ve seen in pics and reviews people are trying the old Apocalypse wave Magneto head, but skin is clearly too dark.

I was thinking to try the Secret Wars Doom unmasked head (which came with Photon/Monica Rambeau) you’d have to paint the hair white, but more importantly not sure that face has the right vibe…

I don’t have the figure yet, just trying to think of ways to recreate his look circa UXM #200….

Had a thought this morning. Given the timing of it releasing (considering it hasn't even been revealed yet) what do yall think the liklihood is that the upcoming Shi'ar Warlord Xavier is intended to pull double duty to go with the 3 packs and X-Men 97? The issue 275 figures already have non uniform packaging (3 pack boxes with Wolverine being on a retro card) and Xavier does have a VA for X-Men97. What if he comes back towards the end of the season with his Shi'ar Warlord look?

I'm assuming that the Retro Card Xavier is gonna be the Shi'ar Warlord look given the design team teased it in one of the fan streams.

Then I'd be really bummed because I want a green jumpsuit Xavier to put with the the rest of the Retro collection on my wall.
