Gotta say. I *love* the current energy in this thread. I’m about to go to war with the bigoted transphobe trash that poorly masquerades as the father of one of my clients, so it gives me a little lift to see folks around here having no patience for transphobia. Thank you.

Apropos of wave 2: I continue to be surprised how much I like Maddie, especially with the whole “new costume” thing. She just works, and the dedicated sculpt is really nice. It’s also *hilarious* to have a baby accessory: so many fun things to do with that.

The one on the right looks more cartoonish and the one on the left looks good for a more realistic or comic book version. But they both look nice for different representations.
I didn't know she said anything bad about the Trans community. That's news to me, but if she did, then f her. I thought she just posted some borderline anti Semitic but not really comments and kinda read about it after the fact. I don't think her posts about feeling like a Jewish person cause she was republican was necessarily anti Semitic, but it was definitely incentive and in bad taste. There are alot of other analogies she could've used that weren't so... controversial. But that was more like the straw that broke the camals back. I don't follow social media for just about anyone so I only read the articles that mentioned her firing.
I personally prefer Bo Katan anyway. Katee Sakhoff is gorgeous and I am absolutely part of the 2%. Which, BTW, I think is probably more then that honestly.
I had bbts ship Jean, Scott and Maddy. They'll probably be here early next week. Some pics I see of Scott don't look too bad, for his face. But then some of them do. So I'll have to judge in person methinks. Just hope the blues match one of the older figures so I can use an older head if I don't like the new one. The love triangle pack is probably too dark, but maybe the single release isn't too far off.
I'm debating on nabbing Morph from the VHS line because I prefer that look to his bald albino head. And I don't know how long it'll take them to release him anyway. But I will wanna take off the cell shading if I do. Anyone know how hard that'll be, anyone maybe whose already done it?

Morph's on clearance at pulse currently, so nows the time you grab him. I used a magic eraser to remove the cel shading off of mine, wasn't too difficult, just time consuming

This is the alleged anti-Semitic tweet. I think I need a breakdown of what's bigoted with this one--it seems more highly insensitive and exaggerated than specifically bigoted. Not even sure I disagree with the point I think she's trying to make, but wow, TERRIBLE way to make it, and I can see why it got her fired. 🤯

Yes, He did. People here still don't seem to realize that most famous creative people are assholes 🙂 What can you do. Some people just hide it better than others.
I can't take words like "Woke", "Bigot" or "Toxic", seriously anymore. They are so overused, off topic, and some people apply them where they don't have to. Especially they are used by all sorts of dumb journalists for their stupid headlines. Because it just sounds more provocative.
It's like a clown\meme words at this point.
Prejudice is a spectrum, not a binary state that you are or you aren't. I'd never call anyone a bigot who wasn't overtly expressing supremacist ideology that this other group of people is inferior to us, whoever "we" are, because it's usually extremely difficult to tell where on a prejudice spectrum another person actually is.
I see PLENTY of self-righteous people who call other bigots who could EASILY be called bigots themselves by someone with closer ties to the minority group than they have, so I try not to jump to such conclusions until I've seen quite a bit of evidence.

We can disagree on tax reform or municipality boundaries.
We cannot disagree about people's right to marry who they love, right to relieve their dysphoria by presenting their true selves, or the color of someone's skin not making them a target for violence. If you're against any of those things, you're a piece of sh**. Not sorry. Stop breathing.
And she is completely correct. The Nazis wouldn't have been able to take control if it hadn't been for the "well, it doesn't affect me, so why should I care" crowd. That's why we all should stop hating each other for the color of each other's skin or sexual orientation or gender identity, and see the REAL enemy for who they are: the government getting rich off pitting us against each other. We outnumber them, and we pay their salaries. "Civil servants" should NOT be making 6 figures while determining that $15/hr is "too much" for us to make. #EtR
