Do you mean muscle pics or something explicit?

From what that article said, he would post shirtless gym pictures on his online profiles and for a time had a non explicit onlyfans account

Soooo...

A Wave 3 is surely a lock. Beast, Jubilee, Morph, Sunspot and then two open slots - Sinister, Cable, someone new.

I started subbing Jean, Cyke, Mags and Logan into my existing Retro Card collection and while the cards don't clash, they don't blend that well. Hope to at least get to Wave 3 this year, and with how fast Wave 2 happened, I wouldn't be surprised. 🙂

Are you sure they were nudes?  I'm not searching for pics of him, I'm just trying to figure out how prudish our culture is becoming.  That Hollywood Reporter article does say his pics were "non-explicit," but I can't tell if that means he posted nudes or not.  If he didn't post nudes at all then that can't be it, and if he did, then wow.  Surely that's not enough to fire him, is it?

@ctv that would be unfortunate if Disney decided they had a problem with his Only Fans account suddenly. One would think that at least a conversation took place about it when it became a known thing and they would have advised him what is okay to post and what would jeopardize his employment. Or maybe they wanted to add a "hog clause" to his deal and he balked? He wouldn't be the first to do something dumb that cost him his job.

I think it's more likely Disney is just being cheap. The streaming market is vicious and maybe they don't plan on doing a third season, and if the show is successful enough to warrant one, they could always replace the writers with cheaper writers. I'm not advocating for that at all, just pointing out that network executives are brutal. It wouldn't be the first time it happened to X-Men. Haim Saban made the entire writing staff take a pay cut or be fired for the second season of the original show even though it was a ratings hit. His reasoning being he now had a hit show that people would be dying to write for. He didn't actually care if the show was still good since he got his full series order with that second season and not many networks went beyond that anyway.

Argh...now I REALLY want to know why they fired him.  They fired James Gunn for the wrong reasons years ago.  I can't remember exactly why they fired Gina Carano now, need to go look it up--I know it was something she posted on social media, but I don't recall what.

I wouldn't say she's a bigot persey. But she definitely made a few comments that were in poor taste. I mean, she could be a bigot as far as I know. But the reason she got fired was she wouldn't stop posting questionable and borderline comments. And she was a bit incentive. 10 years ago it wouldn't have been a big deal. But nowadays what she said wasn't necessarily pc. And it wasn't just 1 time. She did it a couple times, was told to stop by Disney execs, and proceeded to keep it up anyway. I have a feeling her firing was more of a not listening to them when they told her to not post dumb shit, then the actual dumb shit she posted.

I don't really care if the show is a total failure. Considering how many mediocre, crappy projects Disney has put out, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

As for the figures, I'm buying some of them for my comic display or 92 show.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this show. Reason being because the majority of Disney produced Marvel animated shows have been trash (Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, etc). We don't have the good shows like Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Spectacular Spider-Man, and Wolverine and The X-Men.

I'll be there on day one when the show premieres but I'm being cautious. As far as the toys, got the whole wave from Amazon and Pulse in the last few days. Very solid wave. I'm looking forward to wave 3.

@trunks3540 nah, I would say she's pretty bigoted, at least towards the trans community. She's probably no more bigoted than some of our elected officials these days which has lowered the threshold to what the average person will be turned off by when it comes to bigotry. She had numerous chances though, even Pedro Pascal had a conversation with her which I believe he kept private, but she disclosed. Pascal has a trans sibling, if I'm not mistaken, and she framed the conversation as something that was helpful and enlightening (my words, I don't care to dig up what she said) like she was turning a new leaf, but obviously that didn't last. The ironic thing is after the first season premiered and was running I saw lots of questionable takes about Carrano's character in the show much of which appeared to be coming from bad faith individuals classifying her inclusions as woke, that wonderful term we've all had to read and hear all too much from those who can't even form valid criticism. And once she started down the path that got her fired, suddenly all of those people who hated her inclusion in The Mandalorian were rallying to her defense. I didn't realize her acting improved so much between seasons.

She was also spreading COVID misinformation at a time when global deaths were a pretty relevant number. Star Wars if they want a tough lady Rebel in the Mandoverse timeline should just cast the tough woman that was in that last True Detective. Have her just say "unit whatever the hell was just wiped out" (effectively killing what's her name's character) and just write her into the story. Would be ironic to replace her with someone who seems actually sorta tough and can ... you know ... kinda act.
