I'm honestly surprised Morph hasn't made the cut for a 97 wave yet

Nice!  These were pretty for me to find at brick & mortar, so I'm not sweating on ordering the wave - but I did have to place a pre-order for Scott just in case - my collection can't live without that figure!

Just ordered Nightcrawler. While I like the one we have, I won't say no to a new, more poseable version to stand with the other Giant-Size X-Men.

Ended up only getting Cyclops. Nightcrawler and Goblin Queen were maybes but for some reason I just didn't pull the trigger on them. And I have Wendigo Kurt already anyway.

Really want that X-Cutioner.  Most likely get him and Madd Pryor.  I could get the rest but need a Cable on a totally new dedicated body matching the animation preview from 2022.  Hasbro likes to let me down there, so no sale until then.  Except X-Cutioner of course.

I wonder if we could see Mafex do figures from this line??  I would get their Cyclops since it's far more accurate, but only if it's rereleased.  Psyched for the cartoon (finally) next month.

I came here to post about finding Rogue at Wal Mart today, and see the new wave is up for proerder. So I preodered the 4 I want most, Cyclops, Jean, Kurt, and Maddy. I was gonna wait on Kurt and Cyclops, but I did that for Storm and Rogue and now their aftermarket prices are not great, even after they hit clearance before. And the ones I did get are so nice I didn't wanna miss the ones from this wave. The old Kurt is nice, but his knees are too gummy. They're not bad when he stands straight up, but leave him in any crouch pose like he usually is and they bend over time. I'm hoping the new one will be alot more solid since it's pinless. I'll give the new one his old head and sword hand/sword to make him better. Normally idc about pinless, but if it keeps his knees from bowing out ill take it. The old Cyclops has the same issue. I prefer the head and straps on the older one, but the orange is off and the new one looks like it'll hold up better over time, considering it's Vulcan body. I'll just swap heads on that one too. And I'll see how the Jean body is, but I may go the opposite way with the heads and pop the new one on the old body. They each have something really good, and then something that is not so good.

Rogue is cool. I didn't realize she's like, 60% a new figure? Old arms and hands, old abs and thighs, and feet. But she's got a new head, jacket, chest, legs, and belt. The only issue with mine is the green on her chest isn't painted properly on her right side, it goes out farthur then her left. And her green on her boots is also bad. It doesn't go all the way down to her boot cut, it stops a bit above it. So I'm probably gonna try to match the paint and repaint those parts on her. If there were more I would've checked for paint issues, but she was the only figure on the shelf, even for just 97, let alone Rogue. And aftermarket is way too expensive for her now. But the new pieces look good. A bit more streamlined then the old ones I think. Once her paint gets fixed I'll replace my old Rogue for her.

I pre-ordered everyone except Magneto this time after getting all of the first wave. Madelyne has been my favorite reveal of the year so far. I honestly didn't think we'd ever get any version of her after she was shown as part of the failed Engine of Vengeance HasLab.

If there is a wave 3, my biggest want is Val Cooper. I've wanted an official Hasbro figure of her for a very long time. 

Maybe in a possible wave 3 we'll get a Lilandra, in animated style? 🙂

I was gonna order Magneto, but seeing as nobody wants him, maybe I'll wait for a sale.

Then again, the only other time I tried to wait for a sale (Blob), it backfired badly. So we'll see.

I pre ordered the entire Wave today.  Always in for anything X-Men.  I am so happy we are getting X-Cutioner.  I think I'm most excited about him in this Wave.  I don't know what it is, but I actually really like the new Magneto.

It's weird to me that I like it lol.  It's so much less than his usual cool attires, and it has a big M on it.  it seems like it should be stupid to me.  But I like it.

What the hell is up with Cyclops' head in some of those promo pics? How do they even release those?? If the head really sat that high it wouldn't fit in the package...

I don't have a huge need for the powered-down version, but if they give the next Iceman the same treatment they gave to Crystar, I'm all in.

What the hell is up with Cyclops' head in some of those promo pics? How do they even release those?? If the head really sat that high it wouldn't fit in the package...

They removed the cell shading like we all knew they would, but traded it for a head that's botched in every way possible.

I'm not into that 'toon head they put on him. The eye blast head is cool, but not one I'd permanently display. I'm glad I just took a VHS Cyke and removed the cel shading paint; that's been my default Cyke since. I'm kinda surprised this one didn't lose the yellow trunks that seem to show up questionably in promotional material.
