So in the reveals today there are 4 different Wolverine 2 packs. Umm... I love Logan as much as the next person, but is he what is selling those 2 packs? Not Lilandra, or the new Sabertooth everyone's been asking for, or the Psylocke outfit I legitimately didn't even know existed, or the rerelease of the Joe Fixit figure (I'll admit this one may be Logan that sells this set). Also, the one that comes with Lilandra is brown suit with the animated style claws. So Lilandra with new hands for the classic brown suit is actually a win.
Also, some of those promo shots make Maddies legs look less bad. Like the cut isn't as noticeable.

That ninja Wolverine that comes with Lady Mandarin has really nice heads at least. Those can be repurposed. I would have been all over a CIA Team X Wolverine. All black stealth suit with the gold trim to pair with Maverick.

I noticed the TB Astonishing X-Men was in the background. He was adjacent to the Bonebreaker wave neo-Astonishing figure, so maybe that's all there is to it. But we definitely still need a proper original Astonishing Wolverine, so maybe it's a tease. Would love to see him in a set with Armor.

Looks like a great set to me..have to see how I feel about the heads in person as a replacement for past versions. Nightcrawler seems like he'll definitely replace the Apocalypse wave one. Maddie's outfit works for me as a mashup of her classic outfit and the Greg Land/Sisterhood of Evil Mutants one. I'd still take the Haslab one though
During the livestream today they definitely made it sound like there'll probably be a wave 3 of the '97 figs, so that was good to hear.

Honestly, I won't be surprised if we get 2 more waves. There's 5 members of the team left to do based on revealed artwork (Beast, Jubilee, Morph, Cable, and Sunspot) and a few villains as well (Mr Sinister, Emma Frost, Calisto, Sebastian Shaw amd another that I always forget the name of). Given how many of the team has gotten released/revealed already I won't be one bit surprised to get 97 specific versions of the remaining members.
@hbhfback I caught that too, odd since the first wave was discounted pretty quickly.
Maddie and baby Nate is a pretty big spoiler for the series though Funko dropped the ball on that first.
So of the main cast Beast Jubilee, Morph and Sunspot I’d bet are locks for a 3rd wave, Cable, Forge, Val Cooper etc all were teased already and who knows who else will show up!
Maybe they all ditch the trunks, Beast included. Just full on fuzzy blue dong. Hank no longer McCoy.

Hopefully the blue skintone will match the previous figure as I liekd those 3 head sculpts better than this one. They just need to match the tail and we've got a better Nightcrawler with more hands and no pins.
