Still no Cable.....I thought I'd get him in Wave 2.  So keep passing on Marvel.  Straps still too high on Cyke.  Magneto is cool and love that X-Cutioner!  He was on my list.

Uhhh, he's right there. They even didn't skimp on the accessories as he comes with a full goblin queen.

They look fantastic!  I will be getting all of them except Mags.

Interesting they didn't use the same brooch from the EOV Goblin Queen.

What a pleasant surprise. I think I'm in for all of them.

Cyclops is probably my least needed because I've already removed the cel shading from an extra copy of the animated figure, but I'm sure I'll buy it for completion's sake.

Jean is actually making me happy. I love that hair down look, and psyched to get two heads with a more accurate ponytail head to upgrade my cel shaded version.

Nightcrawler! I hope he's pinless this time around.

Magneto looks great, always in for never-been-done looks for characters we've gotten repeatedly.

Goblin Queen and Executioner both look good enough to me. I wouldn't have picked up on the inaccurate details, since I never read the books they came from. But I'm on board. Like ditko, I was totally expectinc Cable from this wave, but I suppose that means there's a possible third wave on the horizon?

I’ve been thinking of this line as a sort of throw away - it’s based on a cartoon, no BaF….

But I have to admit, this wave is great.

Tweak some A-listers, add some villains from out of nowhere. 

The only problem is - no Wolverine(s)?

Is Cyclops still Conan O'Brien? I hope the blast effect is compatible with past Cyclops heads.

No BAF part, but at least they give two heads for some.

Will they pitch Goblin Queen as a two pack?

I actually kinda want them all, except Magneto. I don't like that outfit, and if he's using the same body as the last one he's gonna be underscaled anyway. If the 375 teams straps didn't bug me as much in person, I'm sure Cyclops straps will still bug me about the same as those, but I'll probably still buy him anyway. But odds are he'll be one I wait for a discount, or at least till i see him irl. Maddie is a preorder. The figure looks really good, except for those thigh cuts. But everything else I like. I had a feeling they weren't gonna go with the super risqué top for her, but I'm fine with the one they did do. Jean is probably a preorder. But I'm thinking I'm only using Jean for the heads and hands and I'll use the old body because I don't like the new one. If the colors match I may swap the legs and arms, but I don't like the way the chest/torso is. I prefer the twist to be up farther. But I may decide different in person. But those heads are both better then any previous ones imo, and she's one of my faves so definitely wanting her new faces. So I'm up in the air on her, for pre-ordering at least. I will get her eventually. And Nightcrawler I will probably get but for the opposite reason. I like the pinless body for him cause the old Kurt's knees bend and warp when in crouch poses for too long. But I don't like the shading on the face. No shading anywhere but the face? That annoys me. So I'll use the new body, with the old head, and give him his sword. And a wave 3 should all but be guaranteed unless these do terrible, which I don't think they will, but some of the last wave went on sale/clearance so who know.

I’m all about the New Mutants that were sadly underserved or completely neglected in the original toon get their due, though I’m not big on Berto’s look they went with.

That said if there’s a second wave I’d be all in on the M costume Magneto for my 80s display. 

They finally made Unc X-men 275, so there's hope for black and yellow generic New Mutants. A blue and gray Sentinel would be cool too from the same era.

Eh, not too into this wave. I like that new Jean ponytail head, but hate the decision to remove diaphragm articulation. She might still be an upgrade over VHS Jean regardless (an admittedly low bar), but I’ll probably take my chances she hits clearance. I’m happy with VHS Cyke and never liked M Magneto. X-Cutioner looks good, just not interested in him or Goblin Queen. Nightcrawler looks close enough to his look from the 92 series that I may grab him.

Great, now I've gotta back track and get the first wave. These all look great!

Wow! What a nice surprise before the reveals tomorrow.

I still don't love the new Storm look, but these all look so great, that I'm now considering collecting the whole wave. Specially Maddie, Jean, Kurt and Magneto...and Cyclops. Heck the only one I don't care about is X-Cutioner. Would have much preferred Cable, Sinister or Forge instead. 

This Magneto really makes me want to see pink costume Betsy at some point. 

With this wave still missing some main characters, we NEED a wave 3. I would love it to be: Jubilee, Beast, Cable, Forge, Sinister and White Queen.

This got me excited for tomorrow. And even more excited for the new cartoon.  

I think it’s very likely we get a third wave with the remainder of the cast like Sunspot, Jubilee and Beast.

I agree assuming a decent sales response to Wave 2.   

But I do think it was smart sprinkling in figures like Uncanny 200 Magneto, Goblin Queen and X-Cutioner that even people who don't want animated versions of the main team will be tempted to buy.
