With clearance & the holidays, these things are going be scarce whe the show finally airs. Almost makes you wonder if Hasbro will want to re-release them (althouh retailers would probably push back). Disney / Marvel has really made it tough for Hasbro this year, and with all the changes to MCU going on, it probably will be similarly bumpy going forward, if only temporarily.
@jtmarsh speaking of the Joe Mad look, didnt we get a tease of Psylocke with her Crimson Dawn face tattoo in some of the promo art?
Hopefully if the supply is dried up when it airs wave 2 will be closely behind
@stoopid_sandwich It's possible, I don't quite remember it's been so long. Plus I don't know why if they wanted added diversity to the team they didn't just add Psylocke rather than Sunspot. He seems like an odd choice if X-Force isn't guest-starring in some episodes. Plus his character model doesn't make who he is all that apparent to me. I legitimately thought they added Thunderbird III to the team at first. If it gets a pinless Psylocke body on the market I'm not opposed to it, though "animated" head sculpt isn't really what I was looking for. Personally I'd rather they take a crack at 90s bodysuit powered-down Iceman instead, sans cel shading of course.
Probably because there are no Latin characters in the main cast and Psylocke wouldn't really fit the bill.

I see the new Magneto costume is showing up in other merchandise. If we get a wave 2 with Sunspot, I'd love if they did this look as well.
I'm still confused whether or not Cyclops has the yellow undies. Half of the images/merch i've seen for the show he does and the other half he doesn't.

He should have them based on the revealed character designs
They must be getting the no-undies look from some official source though. Either they initially were going without and that preliminary art was passed off to Lego, Hasbro, and others, or that image we were shown for the character designs has since been revised. Sure would be nice if we could get a look at a trailer considering the show is supposed to launch in a month or so to know for sure.

Alternatively, it's cheaper to produce a cheap figure while ignoring the paint app/separate piece to replicate the undies and companies don't care as much about accuracy when it comes to merch
@fenrys sure, but the licensor cares and has to approve everything. Lego isn’t known for cutting corners in that fashion and had no problem applying it on Wolverine so I doubt it’s a case of Lego either not caring or just being cheap.

Yea, but they tend to care less when the products are for childrens lines and not collectors lines because children tend to care less about accuracy. It could also be a case where the costume changes throughout the season.
I’m all about the New Mutants that were sadly underserved or completely neglected in the original toon get their due, though I’m not big on Berto’s look they went with.
That said if there’s a second wave I’d be all in on the M costume Magneto for my 80s display.
Like trunkless Cyclops we've seen in the lego set and the 4 inch line, I'm wondering if they're not just alternating the looks in small ways across episodes. The 97' Jean funko has her hair in a ponytail and an exposed neck, and from what we've seen in the promotional material the neck is closed up as usual and hair is down.
Or Lego, Hasbro and Funko are all sloppy in their own ways when it comes to this series.
Gotta say I am totally in love with that line up. I love the Uncanny 200 era Magneto costume... X-Cutioner? Didn't see it coming. And Maddy/Goblin Queen is nice - even if the thighs will need to be repainted or swapped for a comic accurate adjacent look.
A nice new nightcrawler... fresh version of Scott and Jean in those 90's looks. I am super excited about this wave. Can't wait.
Although... I'm hoping X-Cutioner isn't actually shorter than Maddy as he looks in that picture.
