Blu-tack is a collector's best friend.
You use blu-tack on the feet of figures to help keep them standing? Never heard of that, could you give more details on that, or a pic of figures you're doing that with?
Some of my skinny leg figures are a little bow legged, but they stand just fine. I have an issue with Star Wars figures doing suicide dives more then Marvel. I don't like the legs on Psylocke and by extension black suit Emma because those just seem to keep bowing out. I keep heating them, reshaping them, letting them cool, and then putting them back in the display, but after a couple months they just go right back to bending. Sucks cause Psylocke is one of my fave characters, and I wish her figures would stand better then they do.
The only figure where I've got a noticeably warped leg is my VHS Jubilee, she needs a stand to stay upright
@enigmaticclarity Yes, to stand figures, hold custom heads in place, hold slippery weapons in place, etc. I'd take a photo but it would just be a photo of a figure standing there. Put a little tack on the bottom of the foot/feet and place it where you want it to go. Voila.
If we can get Jean in peach color instead of the yellows and oranges they keep slapping on her and calling it "Animated" I'll consider wave 2 a success.
I agree, but I would want them to re-use the Love Triangle body. I'm keeping the older Storm and Rogue figures in my display, and I want Jean to be around the same height. The new Rogue is noticeably smaller than the old figure, so I'd rather get a re-used body for Jean than a brand new sculpt that's smaller. I don't care about getting new pinless joints.

The new Rogue is a little smaller, but some of that is because her hair isn't as tall
The new Rogue looks good but I don't like the green jacket, so I passed on her. If they release that sculpt with a brown jacket somewhere down the road I'll probably pick it up.
I'd really love to get these re-released in comic accurate colors. To be honest, I should have just waited for those because I'm mixing these in with my comic collection anyway.
I love Rogue's head sculpt. Sadly I don't do the '90s costumes, though.
Right? Emma is my most wanted after the main original team.
My ideal wave two would be:
Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Jubilee, Mr. Sinister and White Queen.

I could see that being a good wave, though I think I'd swap Morph in in place of one of them since he's got a new look and has only released as a VHS figure.

With the way her figure is built you can easily pop the arms and jacket off the old brown one and put those arms and coat on the new one. Only issue is the greens on the elbows won't match. But you could always just take the elbow paint off and leave it brown and it wouldn't be too noticeable. Or paint the green if you can paint. That little spot, the only hard part to painting would be matching the color. But the arms come off with a little heat.
Got Wolverine, Bishop, and Magneto a few weeks ago. I already have two versions of Gambit, Rogue, and Storm in those costumes so I skipped those figures. Thoughts on what I bought:
Wolverine- fantastic figure. Weird it took this long to get a good Logan head.
Magneto- really like him, but understand some people might think he’s a bit small. Fine by me, and I’ll be getting rid of my Family Matters now that I have this. Also, if youre okay with a trunkless Magneto, putting a classic helmeted head on the Age of Apocalypse body gives you a pretty decent Magneto as well.
Bishop- best of the wave. Nice update to the look, fully functional new body.
All of the figures feel good in hand. Hope we get a wave two and three, maybe with BAF pieces this time…
Has anyone tried swapping the retro carded Rogue's hair onto the new one?
I like the new face a 1000x more, but I hate the toony looking hair.

I have but the shape and keys are very different, also new head doesn't have ears sculpted so look very odd when not covered, would require some sculpting to blend the two
