So how does that foot claw attach/retract? I know with the Toy Biz it use to fold out, and with the Hasbro it just sticks out, but in the comics, from where? Is it a single toe claw? Does it come out from between toes? Which toes? Have they ever shown her barefoot to show where the claw's position is on the foot?

Judging by the location it's coming out in that photo, I'd say it comes out between the big toe and the one next to it. But I think the action figures always have it coming out of the middle, and I'm sure it's been drawn all over the place. It's best not to think too hard about anatomy in comic books.

I always figured it came out from between her toes.  But now that I think about it, that wouldn't make sense because she wouldn't be able to bend her foot with the blade in there right?  Unless it retracts to her leg or something, but then she would have to keep her foot straight every time to extend it.

wouldn't the same apply to her and Logan's hand claws as well? They're longer than their hands, so they shouldn't be able to move their wrists when the claws are retracted. It's one of those things you shouldn't think too hard about.

The hand claws have been shown to be housed in their forearms, below the wrist joint when retracted. The main reason I don't like when they exaggerate how long his claws are.

@fenrys Definitely agree it's one of those things we shouldn't think too hard about, but it's fun to conjecture on this stuff!

Wolverines claws go into his forearms, and I always figured he keeps his hands straight to extend them.  I suppose the same can be applied to her feet, it just seems like more of a pain in the ass lol.

The X-23 I want a figure of is the Billy Tan version.

That cover is so weirdly sexualized. She's like what, 12 here?

Honestly, besides the Daphne Keen version, I always thought they oversexualized her from her comic start. Iirc she was actually quite young in the beginning, and she's always running around in skin tight skimpy stuff. Rebellious teens I guess? Even in Marvel/Capcom 3 she's overdone. If I didn't see her actual inception in XMen Evolution, I would've thought she was in her early 20s just by how she looked. She also seemd to be taller then Logan, if not at least the same height. A new body for the in between girls would be great. Could be used for Kitty and Laura. Even some of the Gen X characters since they should be in between the teen and the adult bodies as well.

When they've shown the claws inside they are house in the forearm, somehow, even though bones exist. With the way human anatomy is, the movie claws wouldn't fit. The small toothpick ones could theoretically, but the way they're drawn they are way too long. One reason I always trimmed the ones I could without them looking bad. They're just not feasible. I would have to guess Laura's foot claws are housed in her actual foot, between the toe bones. While it would make sense for it to be in between the big toe and the next one down, most or her art looks like it's in the middle. That has to be extremely uncomfortable.

I think she's supposed to be like 15-16ish there?  I can't remember, it's been a while since I read it.  But she starts off as a baby in the first issue of that Billy Tan run, and then in each future issue, there's a time jump and she's a little older.  But yeah, I'm assuming Hasbro would tone down the cleavage if they ever did that costume.  As they should, I'm not saying I want a "sexy" costume for her.  I just want one that's not a variation of a Logan costume.  I realize she's his clone, but I'd still like her to have more individuality than to dress like him.

Like I would be cool with it if they updated one of the ToyBiz X-23 figures:

I thought the Family Matters one was too small, and this one looks to be smaller, so yeah.  But you can always put him on a flight stand to hide it.

Disappointing. I never particularly cared for the family matters Magneto, and this one is an improvement in some areas but a step back in others. If this one was bigger and had butterfly joints, purple gloves, and an extra unmasked head I'd be completely satisfied. But as it stands, this will most likely be the body they use when they give us an inevitable comic book Magneto on a retro card or whatever.

Oh well. Guess I'll keep waiting for my ideal Magneto.

He doesn't look awful next to Logan, but next to Bishop he looks miniscule. Maybe it's Bishop that's too big!

I mean....  Logan is supposed to be 5 foot 3;   Magneto is supposed to be 6 foot 2...  and Magneto's entire helmeted head could fit inside Logan's head ... so nah,  it's Magneto that's too small.

And Bishop is supposed to be 6 foot 6 -  so he's a big dude.     So Magnus should be 11 inches taller than Logan and 4 inches shorter than Lucas  and this ain't that.

I mean, that Bishop does appear to be pretty big. Probably scales well with the Vulcan buck, but Magneto probably looks undersized next to that.

I'm not typically a big stickler for scale as long as they're in the ballpark, but this one feels off. Guess it will look fine with a flight stand. Also I'm just basing this off a couple pictures I saw on the internet, so it could look better to me in person.
