Right... I tried to calmly explain and showed her that the money had been set aside and everything was OK - but it's much more helpful when it comes in one or two tiny boxes a week over the course of a month and a half than all in one day.
Was/is the Lilandra set available on Amazon? I can't find it, even sold out.
Anybody else opened their Lilandra/Broodverine set yet? Lilandra's right arm arrived popped out of the socket at the shoulder and I cannot get it back in, wondering if it's a common defect or if I got a dud. This might be the first time I couuldn't fix a QC issue with a Legends figure in like five years and I almost never return anything but I'll definitely return it if it's just a dud ($50 for a set when I really only needed one of the figures and that figure is not working... argh).
On a positive note though, I love the open-hand/claws out look Broodverine has. And the torso on card-sharp Logan is amazing, might be my new version of him. (They're going to get me to buy him again with a hatless head, I know it.)
I did, and mine did not fall apart (I have a few Classified figures with that exact problem, though, so I know precisely what you're talking about).
I am not a fan of the open hand/claws out, as I'm trying to display him as just a Brood-infected "person" and the open hands are the most expressive for that purpose, but the claws (even moreso than the mask) bring it too much back to Wolverine.

No - thought it was Pulse Exclusive - but it looks like BBTS and Entertainment Earth got it too. Amazon did not stock that one.
I think that was true for Logan/Sabretooth as well. Not sure why.
Got the Lilandra set and Angel between yesterday and today. Just need Banshee, Beast, Kitty, and Polaris to complete this era for me!
Fan Channel sometimes includes Amazon, sometimes it doesn't. Lilandra doesn't include Amazon, but I can't tell about Sabertooth. There's a listing for it but Amazon isn't currently one of the sellers. That often changes later once they get things in stock.

Great setup, and the fact that I can't bring myself to waste money and buy a bunch of figures I don't want just to get a Ch'od I do drives me more and more nuts.

Amazon had it up for preorder, that's where I got mine from
My Patch/Fixit set showed up today, so I went on an opening spree of all four sets. Long story short, the Logan/Sabretooth set is the only one worth any versatility. The rest are marred by being too specific (Patch/Fixit, Brood Wolverine, Lady Mandarin) or being redundant (ninja Wolverine, Lilandra to a degree).
My least favorite set is the Lady Mandarin set. I appreciate the history/back story on Psylocke, this being her first appearance as Asian. The beginning of her convoluted history. Appropriate that she wore a convoluted costume. But the figure? Her hair blows to the left, her cape bellows to the right. That's dumb. Wolverine is slick though, and sports my favorite head sculpts of the four sets. Also has nice, hairy, pinless arms (and legs, but the hair is covered by his tights).
My next to least is Lilandra and Brood Wolvie. Lilandra is outstanding. Amazing details all over the costume. Brood Wolvie is good, but not particularly useful. I like the open hands with claws, but the brown doesn't match either the Juggernaut wave or retro card versions. I think it may be close to the HoX though. I do like that the jaw hinges open. No issues with arms popping off.
Next for me is Patch/Fixit. I might have been more excited for this version of Hulk if we didn't just get a Joe Fixit only a few months ago from Walmart. Even that figure yielded two since I could take that extra head and put it on the Gamerverse version. I do like the open mouth expression on this one, very McFarlane. The other seems odd, with tiny eyes and brow not furrowed enough. The new suit body for Patch is GREAT. He really classes up the place. I enjoy both head sculpts, though each expression could be turned up a notch. They're just a bit too neutral.
The top set is easily Logan/Sabretooth. I love the non-jacketed, button-down look for Logan, just to change it up some. I like the mid torso pivot too. I like the knuckle claws, seemingly reused from a Jackman figure. I did notice that Patch also has knuckle claws, but his fists are bigger than Logan's. Surprised they aren't the same. I prefer the bigger fists. I haven't tried swapping to see if proportions still worked though. Creed is just outstanding. I actually really like BOTH heads and see no reason to swap with older heads. I love the use of the Omega Red body, and the new parts he got like the mane and gloves with elbow claws. I do NOT like that the mane blocks his head from moving up for a good crouched pose. That almost ruins a very excellent figure.
I have a second set of Patch/Fixit en route from Pulse, but there's been no change on the delayed tracking status since Thursday, so I think it may be lost. The only set i'd buy multiples of at this point is Logan/Sabretooth. IF I can find it somewhere in stock again. Still seems to be sold out wherever it's available.
@ctv that Phoenix hair sculpt is so great! Whyyyyy can’t Hasbro do this?!?
Edit: and the Dazzler upgrade as well! What power effect is that?

Now that you mention it, I don't actually like the open hand specifically for Broodverine, but I like them as an option for a future Logan. Not sure what costume I'd want to see it on, but there's a few looks of his that would look cool with an open hand with the claws out. I reckon if they'd shipped Broodverine with both options I'd use closed hands for him, but if they'd included that type of hand in, say, the Psylocke two-pack I'd have one fist and one open hand for display.
FWIW, I superheated Lilandra and was able to get the arm in the socket - usually I've been able to just pop the joint together but this one was very tough fix for some reason. Once it cooled down the joint seems table, so I'm relieved I don't have to try to return the set, just didn't want the hassle.
@maschine9 thanks! The Phoenix head is from Casting Cave, Dazzler's is from Metaverse Customs and her effect is from the Power Rangers Lightning Collection.
Looks like this Psylocke is a half inch bigger than all the others scaling to the equivalent of being around 6' 3" or so. I'm guessing that's just Hasbro not caring about scale, or was there some story reason she was huge?
Hasbro ignores scaling. Legends are 6.5" scale and edging taller with the new bodies.

Love this. What risers do you use?
@tsi search The Beadsmith – Stack Jar 4-Piece Assortment on Amazon and there are a bunch of different sizes etc. that come up.
