I don’t have Finster! But maybe I’ll pick him up solely for that swap..GENIUSThis unmasked Xavier is the exact head I've been waiting for to make a Puppet Master custom with that Power Rangers Lightning sculptor guy I bought years ago. Not sure if it will be proportionate though!
If you get to it before me (very likely!) please share pics!
I have to find where I squirreled away the Finster body - because I'm planning to do that exact thing with the extra Xavier head.
Finally opened Venom. I sure am glad they've started making more figures with the thoracic articulation - it's so much more dynamic than the standard waist cut.
As has been well documented, the neck sucks. Is the best way to improve this style of articulation to cut a notch out of the back of the neck?

I cut a semi-circle out of the back and dremeled a bit of the seat for the barbell peg. Now he can hunch over without looking at his feet. Imagine that!
@akajomiha Do you mind taking a pic of your modified neck without the head?

Sure- hopefully you can see it well enough.
Since I had the body & head handy, here you guys go! The neck peg is tiny, so an ML sized peg should probably be transplanted into the body. Right now it's just resting down on the neck itself. I think it'll work well enough, for those of you who plan to do it
Hm. I like it, but he could look more maniacal. Like wider eyes.

Thank you! I think this looks pretty good. The promo pics made this head look creepier than it turned out - good for Xavier, bad for Philip Masters. Still a great option though. Thanks for sharing!
@normdapito Ultimate Vulture
That's not a bad option either!
Honestly for how he's normally portrayed, I've been keeping my eyes on a female figure with a big toothy smile - pull the hair off to make it bald and you're likely to get pretty close.
Stumbled on a single Carol among a handful of MCU Spidey and Iron Man at Target in Hackensack. Guess they're still popping up!
@normdapito yup. I ended up rolling through my local Target on Labor day last week and saw about 6 of them that had just been put out. I was busy with a few other tasks so I passed on them at the time. Went back to grab one the next day and they were all gone. I have been kicking myself repeatedly for the last week for being so stupid.

Yeah, I'm at a point with stuff like this, especially store exclusives - that if I see it I buy it, and then if I think better of it later I return it. Easier than passing, then wanting it and not being able to find it again.
Found Venom at a mall toystore in Asia. $40, which would normally piss me off, but I was never find to find this figure at retail price anyway, so I’m okay with it. First time I’ve seen a Venom figure on shelves in person since the movie figure. Last Venom I bought was the Absorbing Man wave figure when it came out, so this is a decent upgrade for me.
I gave this venom a new metallic blue paint job and I think the end results look phenomenal. Btw for those who have been complaining about the limited movement in the neck I found my own work around. Just use other headsculpts. I've tried out a few varying from the absorbing man wave all the way to the Knull 2-pack and they can all look up. the problem isn't inherently in the neck joint itself, its the fact that the socket inside the two head sculpts we were provided are too deeply recessed, so there's very little space for the head to wiggle around on that neck joint. The other headsculpts can look around fine and there is no modding required to the inside of the head or the joint. Also that Bagley head is the aformentioned Absorbing man wave venom head, just with a new tongue and modified lenses
