Late response! Sorry about that. That's the Spidey and Friends 3 pack one.

I just went full 90's jam session with my NECA city diorama, and since I just showed off my 90's Power Rangers in the PR thread, I thought I'd do the same here. This collection definitely isn't as streamlined as my PR stuff.....I may have too much. FFF and War Machine are more off to the side than I would have liked, but I'd be hard pressed to make any cuts. The Avengers #1, X-Men #1, and Giant Sized X-Men box sets haven't seen the light of day in many years. Nice to pull them out (I love that Thor). I did X-Men animated roster at street level, a "Dave Cockrum appreciation" tier, and an OG tier, and then a bunch of randos. It was fun to set up.
Great pics, @yojoebro82 Man, those figures strike some good memories. And I agree, I still love that Thor figure as well. And that 1st App Beast figure is big enough that he actually blends into Marvel Legends pretty well.
The only one from the O5 set that doesn’t scale well with ML is Marvel Girl. The boys all lean a bit taller and can pass as young teens, especially if displayed with the right MLs. I categorize them with Spider-Man Classics clamshell figures, FA Daredevil and Ditko Spidey blend in perfectly with them.
The other box sets (GSXM and FA Avengers) really lean more towards the 5” scale, so that’s how I keep them. But there were a handful of late ToyBiz figures that did creep up into 1:12, like the Avengers line with Scarlet Witch, Thor, Loki, HR Iron Man, Vault Ultron, MvC Captain America, Secret Weapons Beast. Some of them even had articulation to reflect that with experimentation in ball joint shoulders rather than cuts.

It was a fun time just for the fact that there was a lot of experimenting going on. No, not all of what they tried stuck, but from all that experimenting we got Spider-Man Classics, and from there Toybiz Marvel Legends, and from there we got the 6" figure we know today.
Great shot, thwipster. Is that actual liquid in the tube?
@thor-el Yes and no. It’s these little tiny balls that soak up water and expand until they look like crystal clear marbles. I filled the jar half way with those, stuck in the figure, then filled it with more balls to the top. Then I poured water in to fill the space in between all the balls and render it transparent. They hold some bubbles and the figure in place whereas plain water wouldn’t have. It was a huge pain in the ass to manage the little things because they’re slick and bounce all over the place, and then you can hardly pick them up! 😂
