Really stoked about another shot at a Moon Knight figure since I STILL don't have one and have STILL never actually seen one in person. Also stoked about a redo of a Ghost Rider villain, but -standard 20-year-old complaint incoming- I'm less stoked that it's the BAF of a wave I don't really want many figures from. So there's that.

But it does have another Ghost Rider villain in Lilith, so at least there's that!

I'm really glad we're getting some of the figures that were (I assume) planned as tie-ins to the EoV. Ketch Ghost Rider, Lilith, Blackheart and (obviously) Son of Satan. I'm really hoping they've got a few more waiting in the wings - Vengeance and Johnny Blaze with their rides are my top wants, followed closely by Blackout, Deathwatch, and Zarathos himself. And of course Robbie, though I feel like he's going to remain on the shelf longer than the rest.

Vengeance and Zarathos are big wants for me. Love those character designs.

@h-bird Not to re-open an old wound, but they need to just re-try the Hellcharger crowdfund with a more appropriate price point and features. That's the only way I can ever accept a Robbie, because I'm just at that point where I don't want or need characters on my shelf missing key accessories - and the biggest one in that regard (maybe literally) is Riders without their Rides.

And yeah, I forgot to talk about her but Lillith too! Really cool to see GR and GR-adjacent stuff.

I really hope Danny w/ Bike does well enough to convince Hasbro that it's worth investing the tooling in Vengeance with his bike. De-powered Johnny with his bike is probably a way easier sell because they could just use the existing GR/Logan/Cap bike. The hard part would probably be engineering a trenchcoat figure for a motorcycle without using any soft goods.

But Vengeance and de-powered Johnny are very close to the top of my most-wanted Marvel list at this point.

Figured I'd buy the whole wave just to get Blackheart, but the longer I look at it I've basically talked myself out of all of them, even flame-on Wolverine.  I assumed XMen 97's Storm's head with the mohawk would suit Bloodstorm, but on the whole none of these figures I genuinely want that badly and am just gonna save my money for the flaming parrot Jean Grey and the Destiny 2pk.  Plus if there's a decent amount of Deadpool and Wolverine stuff coming out, I'd rather focus on that rather than trying to justify buying a pinned Wolverine body, when they're inevitably going to release a pinless one based off the X-Men 97 finale costume.  Still up in the air on whether I really need Warlord Xavier given how brief a look that was, and the unmasked head looks more X-Men 97-ish anyway to me.

I really like this wave overall honestly, Lilith was a top 10 for me this year so I'm really happy to have her. I wanted this Dracula a lot as well and really never expected him. But the rest of the wave is 50/50 well needed redos (Brother Voodoo, Moon Knight so people can actually fucking get him, Blackheart), and "Why like this?" (Daimon, Hellverine, Blood Storm). I like the idea of a Strange Tales wave a lot, but this really only covered a vague horror idea and not the staples of the actual comic run. I know I wanted a Starlin Warlock from this, but no Nick Fury? No proper Doctor Strange rep? Classic Voodoo would have been more fitting and appreciated, but BuckyCap bodies are really bad and dated. An update is fine.

I'm fine with them saving the classic Marvel Horror for later. I think Werewolf by Night would be great for a future spooky wave or stuffed into a Spider-Man wave, and Colan Dracula I think would be perfect for a two pack with his daughter Lilith Drake. I'd love if she were spot on to the Earl Norem cover, but her outfit cut would likely be closer to her look in the handbook, which is perfectly fine.

Seeing Blackheart's hair makes me think we could be seeing Gen X's Emplate sooner rather than later.

If Classified can handle making a Vamp and Stinger at a reasonable price, they can certainly do Robbie Reyes' Charger, no excuses.

I've been meaning to post, but I wasn't able to log in (the math problem would not work on my computers, either at home or at work).  You guys have always been friendly and helpful in the past, but over on Facebook, I posted the question: "Where would I know Lilith from?  Is she a Doctor Strange villain?  An enemy to Ghost Rider?  Someone who fights Blade?  Frasier Crane's ex-wife?"

And all I got were "Why don't you pick up a fuggin comic?" and "Just Google it, weirdo" type comments.  I mean, they didn't even laugh.

@rishoutfield social media is almost unbearable if you want to talk about action figures (or anything else, really)

Old school forums like this are the only place I feel like I can actually come and have a real discussion about toys. Facebook, reddit, and Twitter are all either too toxic, or no one has anything of substance to say. I noticed during the livestream everyone in the chat would just say "L" or "mid" for every reveal and it felt like my brain was rotting just from trying to read it

The math problem will work. You just don’t see cursor. Select the field, type your answer and hit enter and it tends to work. Just in a ghostly way

Yes! Thought exact same thing and he is top 10 for me. Even contemplated what I could do with extra Moon Knight (Dr Destiny for Batman?) were I to pick up a second to customize the extra Blackheart head to Emplate.

It's true. Unless you allow yourself to get subsumed in the groupthink of whatever group you've attempted to engage with, snarky, rude comments and replies ("read the room, loser") are all you get. This place is a haven.

On the matter at hand, there was a time when a wave like this would have had me all kinds of excited. I LOVED the Danny Ketch Ghost Rider series, so getting a number of those characters would have made my day. But with current costs having forced me to pull back on what I collect (it always comes down to money), combined with the shoehorning in of character concepts that are wholly unappealing to me (Looking at you, Hellverine and Brother/Doctor Voodoo AGAIN), this wave is still a pass.

I don't post too often, but I only feel comfortable with this forum.  It's like I'm at a bar with a whole bunch of friends.  I don't talk much and that's not a problem.  I just sit back and listen to the conversations and feel welcomed to share anytime I want.

Hence why it sucks when it feels like this place died or is going to anytime now when the site breaks.
