Question - majority rules:
Once I get past the groupings I intend to put on here, should I expand this and do Top 10 voting for individual A-B Listers like Cap, Iron Man, Wolverine, Daredevil, Thor, Hulk, Black Panther and Dr. Strange?
Yes. Also consider adding She-Hulk, Invaders (era), and maybe a Quasar top 10.
Invaders should just be folded into a captain america wave (and lord, i still can't believe we never got an invaders box set for his anniversary
She-Hulk would be a fun single wave, you could put alot of D list marvel characters in there. That oddly might work

I'm as big a Black Panther fan as you're going to find and even I agree this. It would be a stretch to do one decent all Black Panther comic based wave - and I fear it would not be a sales juggernaut no matter how many duplicates I purchased.
If I was going to do it - I'd toss in some Black Panther variants

Malice (Nakia)
Storm - use a version that hasn't been put in an X-Men wave. More Storm is always better
Attuma - hey gotta get him in somewhere and Atlantis vs Wakanda was a thing not just in the movies

I like this, and some of the same ideas i was thinking for panther variants (though i'd do his armored look over WWII)

I wasn't a fan of the dark red sunfire buck version but I would be glad to get him on a better buck with a classic paint scheme. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The first Klaw was mafugly and the 2nd they did weird stuff to his sonic cone.
If it turns out that all the lists for a Black Panther top-10 are very similar, with 5 or 6 figures just about on everyone's list, and the rest that are mentioned are haphazard or BP adjacent, that's fine - that's great intel for Hasbro to think "Maybe we could do a BP boxset with those 5 figures" or "We know the top 3 for a mixed MCU and comic wave".
I actually think some consensus on a BP or DD or Thor top-10 ought to move a possible wave up the list if it can be budgeted out, as the implication is that a lot of folks would be on board for that character selection. It's one of the reasons I think a DD wave or a Thor wave is just about perfect for them to do at this time, as unlike this Spidey top-10 that generated 50 different options, if they can see that a clearly focused DD wave more or less satisfies most collectors, then they have something that will sell and will free them up to re-do/upgrade the heavy hitters to fill in around that wave.
TLDR - difficulty coming up with a top-10 for a character is not a bad thing per se at this point in the line if it makes clear which characters are most wanted.
