What? No calls for Videoman?
I guess we are going to have to make one of these for FF, Avengers, X-Men, Cosmic & Mystic too.
Great lists.
Yes to these two! Stegron and Swarm
Ladies of Sinister Syndicate not made other than Trapster (Lady Ock, Electro, Kraven, Scorpia)
Slingers
Thwipp!
In no particular order:
Super Mode Miles Morales (with the venom sword)
Future Foundation Peter Parker
Ai Apaec (Dark Avengers)
Animated Series Blade
Animated Series Vulture
No Way Home Electro
Arachnid Rider
Spider-Man 3 Spidey (Black Suit)
Colleen Wing
Starling
I guess we are going to have to make one of these for FF, Avengers, X-Men, Cosmic & Mystic too.
That's the plan. Since this thread has gotten such a great response, I'll keep going!
Every 2 weeks I'll start a new thread.
I'm planning on:
X-Men
Avengers
FF
Cosmic
Supernatural
Street Level
MCU/Cinematic/Animated
I'm also considering:
Villains
Women
Specific Storyline (you pick the storyline like Secret Wars, The Last Hunt, Messiah Complex, Celestial Madonna, Contest of Champions, Ultimatum, etc.)
@sdcomics I have always considered you one of the sweetest most generous posters on this board. However watching you exclude Swarm for the Kangaroo makes me realize we should prob be scheduling an intervention!!!
I kid; I kid. Kangaroo is great … for me to poop on
Bees dude. Nazi bees. Vs an Aussie who … jumps?
edit: all kidding aside I get your allegiance to Romita Sr. Such an amazing cartoonist.
Which begs the question how exactly do bees align to the principles of the 3rd Reich and National Socialism? Do they think they are of pure Germanic heritage? Aren’t all bees little Fascist collectivists anyway? Inquiring minds want to know.
1. Hobgoblin
This would be a McFarlane/Possessed version with regular Hobgoblin alt head. Basically just a really grubby looking Hobgoblin. Bonus points for glider smog effect.
2. Lizard
A more monstrous modern version, similar to the old BAF or the McFarlane version. I definitely haven't just read Torment..
3. Doctor Octopus (Animated Series)
Just a re-release that isn't in a two pack.
4. Spider-Man (1602)
Would just love to see a whole bunch of these.
5. Spider-Man (Dark Ages)
Very much enjoyed the vaguely steampunk webshooters.
6. Spider-Man (Battle Damaged)
I think it would just be fun to see battle damaged versions of multiple characters.
7. Kaine (90's Clone Saga)
Mostly because it's weird that this hasn't happened yet.
8. Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly)
This has just been done, but I would really prefer a much darker colour palette.
9. Garden-Spider (Spider-Verse)
I really like this design and I don't know why (it's probably the big hat). Could even be a tiny accessory, ant-man style.
10. Utimate Spider-Man (Earth-6160)
To include older bearded Peter Parker alt head.
#0. 70s definitive SPIDER-MAN🤐
#1. GREEN GOBLIN
#2. CHAMELEON
#3. PUNISHER 1st appearance
#4. HOBGOBLIN w/ alternate head
#5. SWARM
#6. KRAVEN
#7. VULTURE
#8. JACKAL
#9. LOOTER / METEOR MAN
#10. TINKERER
I can't stop at just 10. I cannot. It's like asking someone to choose between their children. It's inhumane.
So I'm going to break the rules. I'M SORRY. But the simple truth is Spidey has so many cool villains Hasbro can keep mining them for YEARS. Spider-Man has a fantastic rogues gallery, one of the greatest in comics.
So, with heartfelt apologies, here's my second top ten (And I promise I'll stop now).
Swarm
The Big Man and the Enforcers (I know, I know. It's more than one guy. But you can't have the Big Man without his muscle and you can't have the muscle without the brains. I'm stuck here)
The Ringmaster and his Circus of Crime (So Princess Python doesn't get lonely)
The Tinkerer
Stegron The Dinosaur Man
Mindworm
Lightmaster
Carrion
Spot
Kaine
Morlun
Special Shout Out to ... The Burglar!!
Without this guy, we'd have missed out on 62 years of amazing, spectacular and sensational fun!
#4. HOBGOBLIN w/ alternate head
I really like this idea! A "blacked out" alternate head would be very cool and fit in perfectly with the mystery of the Leeds/Kingsley Hobgoblin story arc.
