Willem Dafoe proved in No Way Home that he didn't need to have a green mask with exaggerated features to fully embody the Goblin persona, the acting and display of twisted emotions (especially in that hallway scene where Peter was whaling on him and he made that satisfied smile mid punch) was one of my favorite movie moments in the entire MCU, and the fact they've given us, from what it appears to be, a sublime head sculpt, is just gravy gravy gravy.

I was originally going to pass on this entire wave, since I'm way more of a comic figure collector and had no interest in the glider being the BAF, but this Goblin is... going to be hard to pass up on. Especially with that excellent Willem Dafoe headsculpt. Still definitely won't be getting the whole wave, but I'm now thinking I'll at least get GG and the Tobey Maquire Spider-Man. Might also get Octavius, but will wait and see how he turns out.

@akatsuki I honestly don't think we are getting Osborn in the MCU. I think NWH was our MCU Spider-Man vs Osborn movie. Especially based on where things are going in the MCU, it seems like other characters are occupying this spot.

@e-rock I think you are right. But it’s a pity. Dafoe as Osborn being Iron Patriot vs. RDJ as Iron Man would have been fun to see.

Okay, so we are getting both a Ock and Gobby deluxe it seems? I am so unbelievably happy! That changes everything and I don't care if this Gobby is 30 bucks, I want it lol! So maybe Electro is in the wave then and Lizard is the baf!

If he's only $30 that would be wonderful.

And yeah that would ideal with lizard as the BAF. Unless it's a larger Sandman...

@ru1977 Obviously, my wallet hopes for 30 bucks lol!!! But I would honestly pay whatever he costs and not complain cause the figure just looks thay awesome.

I do agree it depends on Sandman's size for the BAF. I am inclined to think it's Lizard most likely, but I wouldn't die of shock if it were Sandman.

Heck, since Gobby isn't in the wave and that part of the leak was off, I sort of hope, but don't expect, that May is in there instead of MJ or even instead of MJ I get my pipe dream of Shocker from HC, though I doubt we get either and that ends up just being MJ lol

That would be pretty damn cool if there was a mixup with MJ and May like that. 

I had settled on not getting the wave since I wasn't paying that for the glider but now it feels like the wave is anyone's guess again. I was so spoiled by that leaked list heh heh.

Agreed, the wave can go any number of directions now. I am going to be excited to see how it shakes out now

Wow Gobby looks great! I'm thinking we're about to see why the best of wave was just repaints. I'm thinking Hasbro is spending a pretty penny on this wave. I'm prepared to be blown away by the rest based on this figure. And since the leaked info is slightly inaccurate I have an ounce of hope for Aunt May!! 

Right, we're back to pure speculation now. Soon we shall wishlist.

I still expect the leak to be mostly accurate, but subbing Gobby with Electro. So something like

That's what I am expecting. I am hoping though for Aunt May or Shocker from HC for that MJ spot, lol!

Part of me wonders if it could be a six figure wave (the Peters, MJ, Matt, Electro) with Sandman as the BAF, and Lizard is held back for the mostly-repaint Amazon set of the five villains coming out in time for Christmas 2024.

Goblin with the glider looks incredible. I don't have an MCU display, but there's no denying an awesome looking figure like that, and I loved him in NWH. Probably going to have to pick this one up. What's the best guess on price, $40? $50?

I'm bracing for $50 so anything less than that would be great.
