There were very old waves where a few figures didn’t include BAF parts because the BAF was very small, Hit Monkey and Rocket Raccoon, and Puck. On those early carded Return of ML waves.
When the leak first came out, there was some discussion if this would be a BAF wave at all or a BAFless retro carded wave instead. At this point, that would be kinda funny. What if there is no BAF, and no glider at all? Then next year they do the deluxe repaint with glider and alt heads.
As crazy as it is to say, I just might sacrifice the glider if it means we can get another character. Gobby had enough time off the glider that I could justify it; he's still Gobby, glider or not. Yeah, I'd want one eventually, but you can't tell me there wouldn't be some pretty dope customs out there.
At this point, I just wanna see the dang things. Other than that tease, we've been deprived. It's been a NWH desert out here!

I would love to get a new updated version. The old one holds up, just a touch flimsy.
There are a couple of fan made 3d printed ones out there, based more on the Raimi design I think, but I imagine there will be at least one we can find from NWH eventually.

I definitely expect another Gobby in a year or two though in classic Raimi style, sans NWH goodies, with just the helmet and no Willem likeness to keep cost down.

Though the photo on the front is definitely not Willem DeFoe's iconic face, at least the unmasked likeness looks good in lo-res!
