Finally got my grubby mitts on Ock as well, and I'll echo all the sentiments. He's fantastic, and the first time I've had an Ock where the tentacles truly feel pretty sturdy and not droopy. Gonna take me a while to get him to stand on them like others have said; that's my true desired pose, since we've never really had an Ock that can do that before, but if I'm not able to, it's alright. A fantastic figure otherwise.

Hasbro knocked this wave out of the park in ways I don't think they have in years (at least for me). Though seeing what they've done with these, it's now made me even more impatient for Electro and Lizard. I'm expecting them to be around the same price point as Ock and Gobby, but that's totally cool; at this point, I'll pay whatever for the full roster.

I got Otto last week. I concur, he’s great. Very easy to stand on the tentacles, I did it first try. I’ve seen a lot of photos of tentacles broken at the connection point though, so I was extra careful around them. He and Osborn really overpower the display. Currently, Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, She-Hulk, MoM, and the FoX-Men figures share that shelf, closest to the floor. Otto and Osborn are just standing in front of the entire shelf, blocking the view of everyone else.

What's more off is Hasbro's coloring - eyebrows and hair should be black.

His hair might have been darker in No Way Home, but this figure is branded as Spider-Man 2 and his hair was absolutely brown in that movie. His eyebrows were always darker, though.Β

Managed to get Ock to stand based on Robo's video- the center of gravity thing is really smart and way beyond a simple collector like myself to think of on their own. 🤣Β  Anywho, I agree about how Ock and Gobby can easily overpower the others on the shelf. Because of their size/height, I have the NWH figures on the top of the shelf, and Ock and Gobby at the back; with their height, you can still see them just fine and they don't take up too much room. I have a couple figures standing beneath Ock- it's mostly Gobby's glider that takes up space.

Whatever color discrepencies there may be don't really bother me. Yeah, Ock is branded at Spidey 2, and Andrew is branded ASM 2, but these are clearly NWH figures. The branding is just a technicality because of whatever silly legalities there are that we don't know about. The difference on Andrew may not be that noticable, but if this was Spidey 2 Ock, he'd have the lighter overcoat and no shirt. Unless they're trying to retcon his outfit in that movie, which seems a bit silly. Still, I don't really mind the hair being lighter/darker than it should be; as long as thought went into the tentacles, that's what I care about.

Now that we've had branding for all the eras of Spider-Man movies I'd like to see a BAF wave...

  1. Spider-Man (Amazing Spider-Man 1)
  2. Aunt May (No Way Home)
  3. Electro (No Way Home)
  4. Mary-Jane (Spider-Man 3 green shirt)
  5. Mysterio (No Way Home Bridge Suit)
  6. Gwen Stacy (Death Drop, Slay!)
  7. Shocker (Homecoming)

BAF: Lizard (No Way Home)

Electro (Homecoming)? Talking about Shocker?

Shocker would be nice, especially if they pulled a Tracksuit Mafia or Vers and he came with interchangable heads and hands to give us both people who took up the mantle. Since we more or less know Electro and Lizard are on their way, he's the only real missing piece in terms of villains.

Civilian-wise, I feel like Aunt May really is the biggest omission at this point. Could pair her with a battle damaged Holland Spidey; I'm usually not one for battle damaged variants, but if it would sell Aunt May, then by all means. The old Maguire Spidey had some fun battle damaged figs back in the day, too.

After Homecoming I probably wasn't too keen on any version of Shocker but at this point I'm all in on Spidey villains so I say bring it. Gimme Morbius too. The iron is hot, Hasbro. Strike!

I dont know if we will ever get an all eras kind of wave. I feel like I would be happy with my movie Spider-Man portion of the collection if I got Electro & Lizard from NWH, Shocker from HC, and Hydro-Man from FFH. Also an Aunt May from whichever movie they want. Doesn't matter branding on that one

Hydro Man would be cool, but I'm not sure how they'd do him, other than a BAF, since he was kind of a giant amorphous blob like the others. While not as high on my list, I think a Tinkerer from Homecoming would be more possible. And I think he's still out there, no? So he could potentially show up in future movies.

I agree, Hydro-Man would be cool but not sure how they could do a toy that I personally would think looked right.

Tinkerer, while it would be awesome if they made him and I enjoyed his little bits in the movie, would be a villain I'd likely skip. I would get J Jonah before Tinkerer, and I still haven't gotten J Jonah.

My biggest wants are all from the original trilogy. I still want the original (younger) looks for Goblin, Ock, Sandman (non Sandy) and Spidey (Tobey). I also want MJ (from any film, but still prefer the red dress from Spidey 1) and wouldn't mind a Venom from Spidey 3.

I get why'd you want all those. From the older films...Maaaaaaaybe a Venom, and if they did a deluxe Rhino... I probably would get it even though I don't actively want it right now.

Hydro Man def is a a baf and would be limited in articulation, certainly. But i still want it. Maybe in a 2 pack with civilian Peter from that sequence one day. But yeah, standard size figures, give me Shocker, Lizard, Electro, and Aunt May and then I will be happy. Pending whoever ends up in Spidey 4

If the YouTubers and leakers are even only half right, Spider-Man 4 is gonna be NWH all over again as far as villains we're waiting for.
