That's what I'm looking for as well. Different actors playing characters we are already familiar with. Even if it's temporary, like Jim Halpert as Reed Richards. That's one of the things I didn't love about Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Yeah, it was explained WHY all the Dr Stranges looked the same (nexus being), but I still would like to have seen some variety in casting, for the fun of it.
I agree, Deadpool 3 is the last movie I'll need for nostalgia baiting. It's already looking like it will go all out for that, if rumors are true. But that will certainly be enough for me. Unless it's just one more catalyst for Kang Dynasty/Secret Wars. But seriously, where do you even go from there? I'd be pretty satisfied if they brought stuff back down to Earth (ONE Earth) for a while. I've seen a rumor that they're going to be building KINGPIN up to be the new main adversary. Street level has always interested me more in the books. If done right, it could be really interesting to see in live action.

And lastly, I definitely agree with a more grounded period after Secret Wars. (whisper: dark reign....) I've said before, but part of why I liked Homecoming so much was what a breather it was to have a movie about a struggling superhero defeat a villain that was basically just a fancy robber, rather than end of the world, blue light beam in the sky kinda plot. Also why, as much as I really did love NWH, I really hope Spider-Man 4 features a little more Matt Murdock, return of the Kingpin, introduces Black Cat, and has Hobgoblin as a non-Ned mob enforcer. it also could be lower budget if they focus on that stuff, something I really think Marvel needs to do more. Yeah, I'm sure they'll still shoot for big budget blockbusters but when that's ALL they do, it's not gonna work anymore.

I picked up one of the two I found on the pegs. Also left behind one of each MJ and Sandman. When I found Peter Two, it was one of six, but the ONLY NWH ML figure at that store.

Norman showed up today and the core wave shipped from Pulse about an hour ago. Gotta admit I'm most psyched about civilian Matty Murdock, wanted one of those since we got the unmasked head in the SDCC exclusive. I haven't had that set on display in a dog's age.

I pray to God that Spidey 4 introduces Felicia Hardy and she's like how she is in the animated series. In the comics she's literally just a lazy Catwoman clone. The animated series at least made her likeable and gave her growth through her story arc.
Where Peter is story wise it'd be great to introduce the symbiote (which is in his world now) but without doing a Venom storyline until Secret Wars. He's in a dark place so it just makes sense.
Then he could meet Felicia and the whole Kingpin/Black Cat storyline could play out. Secret Invasion introduced the idea that hero DNA was collected, so the whole perfecting the Super Soldier Serum/Black Cat storyline could work out perfectly. Even having Smythe as the initial test subject and it going horribly wrong could work here too.
Hobgoblin has been multiple people before, so I definitely would be cool with Kingpin getting ahold of the Green Goblin tech post No Way Home and making a Hobgoblin enforcer.
I definitely want them to give Ned and MJ a rest. I personally don't need to see them again until a Tom Holland finale.
There's plenty of things they could work with to give us another awesome Spider-Man movie that's grounded without going all Spiderverse/Multiverse which is so played out at this point.

This has got to be one of the best waves Hasbro has ever made. Such a sharp contrast to that BS POS Infinity Saga they just put out.

Sandman - I wasn't really that excited for him and didn't think the pics looked that great, but he looks and feels so good in hand.
Matt Murdock - They finally fixed all the issues with the standard suit buck, I never want to see the old one used ever again! I've seen some people not like the likeness, but I think it's spot on.
MJ - I wasn't planning on replacing the first version, where I modded the grumpy face onto the ponytail head. The new one just turned out so good though. I did take the hands from the first version though, so she can actually hold the accessory.
Tobey - I personally like the headsculpt.
Andrew - I'm glad Hasbro made the unmasked head happen.
Tom - If this figure was just a little bit shorter he'd be 1000% perfect. I can't get over how much I love this figure and suit. I hope this suit sticks around in the movies for awhile.
I really need an Aunt May more than anything now. Would have happily traded out MJ for her.
Shocker and Lizard have to be inevitable. Hasbro better not dare think of using that old mold for Lizard, he needs to be new.

I'm not trying to get into another Hobgoblin discussion.... as much as I love to, heh. But I know some are totally unaware of the 'resolution' to that plot, and that's fine. But I also can't ignore that Ned Leeds was never the intended identity as far as Hobgoblin's creator was concerned.
BUT, yeah, Norman's tech is now out there and it would completely fit with Hobgoblin's comic personality for him to be a criminal that repurposes it for a new villain persona. I always think of the Gang War story, I think it was five issues, and it had all the characters we've mentioned, and more!
I know there's a new Gang War crossover recently, or even now maybe? But this was the one I read as a kid. I would love if Rose appeared on screen too, especially alongside Hobgoblin. And I'm okay if they work MJ and Ned back in again, as long as it doesn't diminish NWH too much (and I feel that's a major consideration), but I'd also be cool with a movie or two not featuring them. Let him immerse himself in Spider-Man for a while and have his supporting cast be other superheroes that he doesn't have to worry as much about putting in harm's way. Black Cat, Daredevil, or even White Tiger or someone would be awesome. And only part of my motivation for these ideas is to get toys.

People may not realize his hair was parted the opposite way in NWH than in Daredevil and that may be throwing off their mental image of Matt. Has anyone removed the glasses yet? How bad are the indentations?
