I want to buy an extra MJ just to do a civilian custom, but I'd have to wait for a discount.
Found a lone Peter One at Target this morning. Will be heating this guy before I move him around, I've seen enough photos of broken hip pegs that I don't want to encounter that myself.
I wish I'd known that before I opened mine! Heh. I didn't break anything but I could tell it would be REAL easy to do so. The hips but also the elbows.
What's wrong with the elbows??
They were extremely stiff. Actually the knees too. As I'm sure most of us do, when I first opened him I tested all the joints, and a lot of times they can be a bit stiff, but Peter 1 was EXTREMELY stiff. I also switched to the masked head and could tell if I didn't let it get used to having the peg in it for a while, rotating the head would snap the neck peg off. But yeah, the knees I had to do very slowly as well, but the elbows are so thin that I was really afraid something was gonna give.
The Final Swing figure is probably the only Spidey I will get but it stays carded. Sounds like the best course.
Edit - the NWH wave finally exploded at Target, with the exception of Sandman and Andrew there were lots of the other figures there.
WTF with all the MJ figures? Might turn out to be overproduced figure of the year.
The Peter 1 masked head sooooooorta reminds me of the old 70s show.
Glad I came in here before opening the Spidermen I found today. I'm usually pretty delicate during the initial inspection.
I had issues with almost all of my Spider-Man hips from this wave. I actually snapped a Tobey and Andrew - thankfully the GameStop nearest to me has a great Defect Return policy. Didn't hurt that I just reach Onyx status after all these Legends purchases.
I'd suggest putting all the Spider-Men in boiling water straight out of the package. I didn't have any issues like this with the 3 pack releases I got,
Pleased to report no breakage with my Peter One. I did approach with extra care, not forcing any joints. I do see the issues that can lead to breakage, but so far, I have not become a victim. I do hate how Hasbro executes drop hips. More should be like Beast with the solid barbell across the shaft instead of how these pivot with a thinner post. The figure does seem a bit too tall, but maybe Peter had a growth spurt between the time he wiped the world’s memory of him and the final swing.
A helpful Target employee brought out one each of Tom, Tobey, Matt Murdock, and Sandman from the back room. Anyone have the DPCI for Andrew Spidey? (Is he "Spidey 3" even though the package says ASM2? I forget.)
All 3 Spider-Man were delayed til December on Amazon but it looks like tobey and tom about to ship, still waiting on andrew
Are people finding Norman at Target as well?
All the Spider-Men have been pushed back to December 21st by Amazon. I expect that to change 5 more times in the next few weeks.

I saw three at Target yesterday.
I just opened Tom Spidey and this is a very impressive figure. I'm going to have to heat up the legs but the kids are in bed so I can't fire up the blow dryer at the moment. I really like his "final suit" ("Final" until the next movie, of course). The double ball peg actually works, which is a treat. He comes with all the hands he should have. The actor likeness couldn't be better at this scale. Yeah, wow, pretty good figure.
@yojoebro82 hot damn, thank you... I may have to haunt them a bit
And yeah, the Tom likeness really blew me away. I never got the Ned set so I don't know how this compares, but this one was really incredible. Even though I am giving that head to a friend heh.
