I think it would look pretty cool if you cut a "tare-hole" in the hood so you could have both--provided the width isn't a problem
Got Gobby and Tobey last night. Hot diggity dog, Gobby is a cool figure! Took a bit of finnagling to get him to pose properly on the glider, but thankfully his joints feel nice and tight so he won't droop. My preferred look, at least for now, is the hood off and goggles around the neck- gotta show off the full Dafoe! Love the mask though; wish there was a smaller stand for it, or a way to affix it to the glider like in concept art or something. I'll definitely pick up a second one if/when he ever goes on sale (provided a regular Spidey 1 Gobby isn't made).
Come on, Ock! You're the last one I need!
This may have been covered already, but is that the Toybiz movie GG glider being reused? I'd have to dig mine out, but it looks very familiar.Â
Has anybody tried sticking the comic Murdock head onto the MCU body? Curious to know if that works.
@yojoebro82 I don't think it's the same. Maybe it uses some parts, I'm not sure, but looks entirely new to me.
I also found Peter 1 at Target so Amazon can go screw in this instance.
Tobey got delayed. Assuming the others will too. Nothing new in the world of Amazon 😆Â
Found Goblin at Target tonight, after receiving Tobey from Amazon yesterday. I really like these figures! But they both suffer from having no lower leg rotation. That makes it really difficult to get into any deep stances without splaying the ankles out at an unnatural angle. Sucks on Spidey, but it's REALLY unfortunate for Green Goblin, as it really makes it difficult to post him on the glider. Still really cool figures. Can't wait to get Doc Ock!
@fuzzybluedemon the articulation they included for the glider footholds actually helps for this. I found myself wanting his calves to rotate but then I realized I could just rotate the footholds
I saw a Tobey, and a few Toms, MJs, and GGs yesterday. They look very nice.
Yeah, the swivel pegs on Gobby's glider were a nice surprise. Didn't know about them at first, and it took a bit of finnagling to get the peg into the hole. Pressed a bit too hard and felt it go sideways; thought I broke it at first, but then saw that the peg swiveled, and it made it much easier to pose him. He really is one of the coolest figures of the year, I'd have to say. Also, a small detail, but IÂ love that the pumpkin bomb can actually stay in his hand. Can't tell you how many accessories I've lost or deemed unusable because, even though the hands are sculpted to hold that specific accessory, it's either too big or small. Gonna have to wait until I have Ock in hand, of course, but Gobby might be the winner of the (admittedly very strong) wave.
Found a lone Peter One at Target this morning. Will be heating this guy before I move him around, I've seen enough photos of broken hip pegs that I don't want to encounter that myself.
I don't normally get too many MCU figures. The NWH characters are not something I was expectant for, exception being the Matt Murdock and Sandman. Someone said Murdock was just reuse, well only the upper and lower torso, coat, tie and hands. Pinless arms and legs are great additions. I put the comic head on him. Have wanted a comic civilian Murdock for a long time.
Don't remember too much about Sandman in the movie. Waiting for Best Buy to deliver the movies so I can view them again.Â
Not interested in Goblin for over $50. Never liked the MCU design for him.
Naturally everywhere I saw NWH figures tons of MJ. Target seems to have bought solid cases of that figure so probably going to linger till clearance.
What wave is next after MCU best of?

I'm sure we've all been there.

I wish I'd known that before I opened mine! Heh. I didn't break anything but I could tell it would be REAL easy to do so. The hips but also the elbows.

What's wrong with the elbows??
