I tend to think of Pete as post-college, so I like the RYV body. The AF15 body makes sense for a younger version.
Just give me that classic Falcon and I'll be happy. I'd buy yet another DD if they use the same body from the 2 pack but improve the chest emblem so that it's more noticeable and make the gloves and boots a different shade of red than the rest of the figure.
If this is how we finally get an updated Wrecking Crew, I'm all in for it.
My Targets are starting to finally stock these. Spotted Beyonder and Titania (who I picked up) yesterday, and today I found all but Spidey at a different Target (picked up Cap from that set).
If they do a second wave, I just hope that they do at least a couple of new characters like they did this past time. Volcana would seem like a no-brainer. I'd likely still buy repeats like Daredevil, Falcon, Hobgoblin or the Wrecking Crew but I'm never happy about it like I am when I get a character that I didn't already have in my collection like we got this time with Beyonder and Titania. I still bought Cap and Iron Man (skipped Symbiote Spidey and Wolverine) but didn't feel great about spending money on those same characters yet again. Getting new characters like Beyonder and Titania made me feel less bad about buying the repeats that I did choose to purchase.
If they stick to Secret Wars I the only character that hasn't already had a figure is Volcana - so that wouldn't be much of a wave. I mean unless we count Zsaji - which I personally do not care if we get as a figure.
So they'd either have to lean in to Secret Wars II to get more new characters or do what I alluded to, reference the original comic and the original toy line to fill out the roster.
I'd be happy with Volcana and Zsaji. The both appeared in 8 of the 12 issues. Deeper cuts from the series could be Mephisto, Cynthia Von Doom, Galactus' Cat or Puff (Lockheed's female companion). Those seem far less likely.
If they did Volcana and Zsaji, I'd personally be more likely to buy newer versions of Daredevil, Falcon, Hobgoblin or members of the Wrecking Crew as well. If they did all "re-do's" or updates, I'd probably just skip them and stick with the versions that I've already got.
Honestly this seems like it was far more likely to be a one-and-done wave.
My local Target in Western Pa got Titania & Beyonder in. I've seen Iron Man at Gamestop. I wonder when Captain America, Spider-Man & Wolverine will appear.
Same situation in the Denver Burbs. Feels like they haven't or perhaps won't hit en masse.
Haven't seen these on the pegs in Central Pennsylvania (State College) yet. They do have the remains of the Retro Spider-Man wave though.
Managed to get Titania who is really cool - but does anyone else have an issue with the left arm keeps popping out at the bicep swivel?
