@fac The body is the same as previous Kang, in fact I think the core of the head is probably the same too, it's just the previous one they glued in the faceplate. But this one has three new faces, and the chair, and some new weapon options (and hand options too maybe?). Honestly I think I might get it despite having the previous Kang. I like that one a lot, and having more than one Kang isn't really a problem since, y'know, Kang and all.
For army builders we got Outriders *and* the arcade sentinels. Don't think we're slated for another army builder so soon.
Just give me a properly done Iceman with a SUBSTANIAL ice slide, no more of this frosted over patch of grass accessories. Beyond that I'd like to see how the Capcom based figures look to know if there's a Psylocke in that bunch that I'll want. Getting short on the "must have" X-Men and soon all I'll be left with are B and C list X-characters and variant costumes, which is fine with me.
@jakeekiss Thanks, even with the Council of Kangs being a thing, at that price I am on the fence given I already have that Kang, so the main enticement is the chair.
Good point about the Sentinels. Hasbro ought to consider making Kang an army builder with maybe a half-dozen face plates...
FYI: The faceplate comes off of the old Kang figure pretty easily. Heat it good, and you can just tear it from the chin up off the head. No need for any sharps. I've got two faceless helmets waiting for their new Kang faces.

I too would like to see them really nail an Iceman figure, finally. Wouldn't mind the depowered costume version as well, but a good Iceman should be a priority.

Just give me depowered Bobby in his X-Factor costume. There is a zero percent chance Hasbro is going to make an Iceman figure that actually satisfies you nitpicky perfectionists, so I'm in no hurry for them to try just to hear people complain about it 😆

@fingfangfoom It came off intact? Hmm. If that's the case, I'm tempted to use some Amazon credit I've got to pick up a third or fourth Kang body.
@tsi I don't mind the ones we've gotten - hell the one reto one would have been fine if the face didn't have a crack down the center of it. Just a decent body with a frosted deco that they've already nailed on other figures would be... just the best 🙂 I'm not as picky with others as far as Iceman goes. I don't mind the modern one - would just like a classic version with less issues.

Love the continuity when stuff like this still shows up years later (this shot is from the Busiek/Heroes Return era, I believe).
I'd take the original Porcupine costume too, and I think they can be used as different characters. So that's two Porcupines we need.
Agree that every classic styled Iceman has been deficient. I'd definitely like a FA Iceman with the lumpiness and the boots. But for an idealized version I want one with mostly pearlescent white, minimal blue shading and no translucence. I am completely tired of translucent Icemen. I don't want to see his internal workings anymore. I could go either way on blocky or muscular. I'd prefer something blocky but wouldn't scoff at plain muscular, as long as it was done well. And definitely a bonus if his face wasn't malformed.
