I think the only MCU based offering we can definitely expect is the NWH wave. I hope we get other MCU revealed, but I am not counting on it.
Yeah they're in a bad spot with this stuff. Deadpool, Cap 4, and Thunderbolts haven't even officially been postponed yet but of course they're gonna be.
I kind of wonder if we might see a Deadpool 3 movie wave regardless of the strikes pushing production back with either all comic (guess I miss those Deadpool comic waves) or something like movie Deadpool and Wolverine along with comic Deadpool related figures or Deadpool 1 and/or 2 movie figures filling out the wave.
I shall once again take an opportunity to express movie waves should always have a few obvious characters along with several from previous releases. That way 'spoiler' characters, like this new NWH wave, are held back. Quantumania should have had Scott, Hope, and Kang, along with 80's Hank & Janet and Kurt & Dave. The MOM wave should have included Kaecilius and the Ancient One.

Well, I'd venture that comics figures with heavy reuse are easy to crank out with less lead time and Crystar didn't even have a wave slot planned as of SDCC. I'd wager there's stuff Hasbro could do more easily that could be fast tracked to replace delayed projects.
Β
Hoping they do a VHS Cyclops without cel shading and a Psylocke with parts of the Black Widow body. 90s Colossus feels like an easy one since he'd just need new knees and the modern Colossus Gauntlets with the Juggernaut 2 pack elements. A proper vintage comics Apocalypse from the Retro Card tooling in appropriate colors. An Avengers Beast using gray Beast's alternate head.
Β
I'd be eager for a Charlie-27, a Crystal, maybe some Fantastic Four variants, a 90s "Capcom-style" Hulk using the SDCC exclusive with maroon trousers. They could go nuts with MvC recolors. Rogue's an easy one since her default costume in MvC 2 was her 90s costume in green and white. Amazon Venom in blue.
Β
Maybe we could finally learn what happened to those customs shipments of Shuma Gorath.
Β
I still have a crackpot theory that Shuma and Wanda were together and the Wanda figures we're getting now were stripped out of those boxes and repackaged. π
@pg-superfan comic figures probably would be quicker. I would just have zero interest in them, thus I hope they do something to fill the void that benefits the MCU collectors. More comic figures to supplement doesn't do that.
Right, even without new content on screens, they gotta give MCU collectors something to keep us on the hook. Otherwise they risk us losing interest.
I'm trying to temper my expectations but I remember Hasbro Pulse Con reveals last year were great!! Loved all the X-Men!!! Hoping for more of the same this year.
So Detroit Steel is the PulseCon executive?
Yes, at least only one we're aware of at this time

(Sorry, hard to resist running with a good typo)

It's funny how many people I see calling it HasCon when it's always been PulseCon 🤣
Well I always call the fanfests 'fan-f*&#'.
It was Hascon before Pulsecon, wasnβt it?
Is there a preview day before Pulsecon?
Canβt wait for that Detroit Steel! Always has been a fun, over the top design. Looks awesome in figure form.Β
It was Hascon before Pulsecon, wasnβt it?
Yes, in 2017. Then there was a Hascon announced for 2019 but it was cancelled.Β
Β
My prediction is that the NWH wave will be revealed before Pulsecon, through one of their beloved mainstream websites.
I'm gonna say there won't be any other MCU stuff. Even if they want to fill the gap, I doubt it would be ready yet, unless they had 'in case of delay break glass' figures ready to go (which is possible).
