Marvel Legends hates Janet van Dyne.
I'm extremely confident that she'll get released next fall before the HasLab ships....but way too early to announce her now if they want to time it that way... maybe even a couple of different versions.
Personally I already have so many comic Wasp figures (of all sizes) from Hasbro and/or ToyBiz that the idea of another one doesn't actually do much for me - but I'd still buy a nice new pinless 6" version if they made her. I'd really rather have a comic Nadia figure at this point though, honestly.
Oh I'd absolutely love a figure of Nadia! But FA Jan makes so much sense in the 60th Anniversary year for the reasons Beamish listed, and for synergy with the Haslab. Even if it's timed to release alongside Giant-Man I think it would make sense to show it off during the campaign since people associate them with one another.
Carol is also missing from all Avengers 60th so far despite her face also being part of the main marketing banner. I'm HOPING she's announced soon to tie-in with The Marvels. But Wasp also had a movie this year and got nada...
I really enjoy the chemistry of the three main ML guys and they seemed back to their happy ways this time around. Was happy to see that.
And very glad Giant-Man's eyes are being updated! That was one of my big notes. 🙂
Who here wants to bet me that we’ll finish off the Winter Guard with the revealed Red Widow plus Vanguard, Powersurge, Fantasma, Sibercat and Sputnik before we finish off Inhumans with Crystal, Gorgon, Lockjaw and Triton and GOTG with Starhawk, Charlie-27, Martinex and Nikki?
Why does everyone always leave out my favorite member, Aleta?
I imagine some kind of comic Carol figure is planned. Was The Marvels movie pushed back at some point? Probably affected Hasbro's plans for any of her comic figures. I'm so surprised they haven't revisited her modernish comic costume, although her figure from the BAF Hulkbuster wave will be impossible to match as there still isn't a female figure with as nice shaping.
Wasp not getting a figure during this anniversary merch is a bit odd. I suppose her movie figure too precedence. And her last comic figure (and MCU figure) were such pegwarmers, Hasbro is gotta be concerned about her becoming one again. So they chose a movie figure over a comic. I think we'll get a comic figure of her next year to time with Giant Man's arrival. Sure they could have revealed a comic figure of her during the Giant Man campaign to help promote the Haslab, but I'm not sure how many people will be skipping the Haslab just because Wasp wasn't revealed.
@ru1977 The way he's done makes me want a Zombie Strange with a Cloak of the Damned.
Honestly I still want another wave of Multiverse of Madness figures...
- Zombie Strange
- Christine Palmer
- Clea
- Captain Carter
- Captain Marvel
- Mr. Fantastic
- Black Bolt
...would all be instant buys for me.
This PulseCon was kind of a huge dud for me, it's like they just condensed their normal Fan First reveals into some joke of a Con. Definitely didn't feel as special as the last few.
I do love Dan Larson as a host though.
I'm familiar with Void/Sentry, but I don't remember him looking like a giant jellied cockroach. Beyond dud if you're an X-fan. We all know we're getting Lilandra, they could have at least have given us that. It's not like people are frothing at the mouth for a figure of her. Most the people who care have already cobbled together a custom using the head we got for her.
Found myself enjoying the Joe-cast more than my own native nerd niche. A resounding "meh."
That Void I believe is from Dark Reign, if I am not mistaken

+1 to this.
Dan Larson is great, but PulseCon just having the Fan First streams happen on the same day combined with some exclusives.
As for the reveals, very excited about the No Way Home stuff! Hope that Lizard and Electro are fast follows.
And the Void wave? Okay, I guess. Definitely making me concerned the line is running out of steam, though.
I was happy to see a gathering of the Hasbro groups. The ML team do indeed look like some of the stress of the past year has worn off. I've been collecting ML since Day 1 with Toybiz, so at this point, with the prices being all over the board, it's up to Hasbro to earn my money. I don't buy every wave or release like I used to. They have to make me believe that dropping $25-50 on a figure is worth it. They sold me on four figures today that I was not expecting and a couple that will most likely see my Paypal account in the coming weeks/months. Well played ML team. You didn't get all my money, but you earned some of it, and if you can do that once in a while, you're doing a fine job. At least you know I'm still interested.
Now then... where is Harry Leland, Count Nefaria, FA Wasp and that whole thread and some of the GLARING holes we have in our teams to complete them?!
@beamish original question in the thread was what do you think we'll see. No one said Jae Lee Namor. Surprise for sure, but doesn't seem to have delighted many folks. I suppose seeing exactly what we expected wouldn't delight either. I feel for the crew that has to make character decisions.
I'll volunteer to make character decisions.

I just hope they make those two and Aunt May, leaving May out would just be wrong.
With Doc Ock having Spider-Man 2 and Andrew Spidey having The Amazing Spider-Man 2 branding, that opens the doors for more figures from those movies.
We could get a good wave out of that...
- Black Suit Tobey
- Mary Jane Watson (Either the Spider-Bite school picture look or the Doc Ock Final Battle look)
- Gwen Stacy (TASM 2)
- Shocker (with both heads)
- Electro (No Way Home)
- Aunt May (No Way Home)
Deluxe: Lizard
Or if they wanna make it a BAF wave throw in an unmasked Mysterio.
I don't know how they're putting out so many boring comic waves lately.
They haven't even begun to tap into the Shiar, the Imperial Royal Guard, or the Nasty Boys. Plus there's still plenty of teams to wrap up. The Brotherhood and X-Factor immediately coming to mind.
