Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Love this book. Loved the Stefano Caselli art. I want the top of the list much more than the bottom, but I'd take them all.
Most of them were never developed beyond a name and a costume so I'd pass, but Komodo, Hardball, and Cloud Nine in particular were great. I'd take figures of them.
Wish someone would remember these characters exist and do something with them. There was a lot of potential there.
Whew that’s a lot of characters I’ll pass on. Don’t really know these. The only one I’d get would be Ultra Girl, due to the New Warriors connection. The rest… well, good luck to those that want them, but not for me,
I'd get them all
Ugh who????
None of these are known to me or even look that interesting. Maybe Sunflower for the goofy shelf. Otherwise pass on all.
I enjoyed the Initiative series, and a lot of the different teams had some interesting characters. And being a Pennsylvanian, I’d especially take any Liberteen members they’d care to make.
Hey I love this selection! The Initiative was a really fun concept and book, and I'd love the mains from the series and I'd take any of the random minor characters with fun concepts too. I'd also love to see the Avengers Academy kids get some love.
I'd also love to see the Avengers Academy kids get some love.
Seconded. That was a solid book from day 1.
Ah the Initiative......
It was a great concept, with some pretty good characters and costumes, but suffered from the same problem a lot of team/event books suffer from.....too many characters.
I know a bunch of the characters have shown up elsewhere over the years. I think Vox just showed up recently, and wasn't Melee turned into Finesse? Anyway.
Personally there are a lot in that list that I would have no interest in buying. Then there are a few I would consider on sale. Only three would make the "most likely would buy."
Komodo. Her original look was cool and her armoured look doesn't really do it for me.
Trauma. Mostly due to his power set. His overall looks weren't very toyetic so I doubt he will ever see the light of day unless he gets a big push somewhere.
Thor Girl. I'm a sucker for Thor, and Thor adjacent, characters. Her look is enough to entice me to buy her if she was made into a figure.
Big yes on Century. Turner D. if and only if he came with the tandem bike.
Pass on the Timebreakers, yes to Century, and a big yes to Turner D. Century. I'm always in for the kookie Scourge victims.
Happy New Year everyone! Can't wait to see all the cool stuff coming in 2024.
Pass on the Timebreakers, but a definite yes to Century. Turner D. would get bought most likely in a BaF wave.
Timebreakers would be a pass.
Century is a definite yes, and Turner D. Century is a probable yes, depending on how Hasbro did the figure. Wouldn’t want him phoned in.
I loved the Initiative comics! Yes to all of them but particularly the featured original cadets— Komodo, Cloud 9, Trauma (son of Nightmare!), MVP and KIA, Hardball (the reason Iron Man’s Hulkbuster 2 Armor did not defeat World War Hulk!).
I’d get Armory.
And definitely Gauntlet, although he’s not on this list. Gauntlet has shown up in some Iron Man comics.
I’d want a redo of War Machine’s awesome Initiative armor as well.
Also definitely yes to the tragic Gadget (I loved the concept of this character) and Paragon. They both come from Iron Man’s Director of SHIELD comic. But we need Graviton to go with them.
And yes to Century to compete Force Works and Iron Man’s animated series team!
