Maximus is a yes, of course. That said, and as appropriate as it would be to receive some Kirby goodness, I think I’d prefer the modern (more subdued) look of the second to last inset illustration. I’m also strangely drawn to the design that appears to be an interpretation of DC’s Mantis. I don’t remember that one at all…
Enfant Terrible is exactly my flavour of crazy - I’ve had him earmarked on the want list for years, albeit with no expectation they’ll ever make him. There’s a bunch of F4 villains they need to get to first though, and in 6 figure waves where 4 of the figures are Reed and co, that ain’t happening fast…
Maximus has a way better chance, but I’d only really be in for the classic green look with the crazy headgear. And I suspect Hasbro would take one look at the options and say ‘black trousers and a long jacket? Done!’
Day 749 - Whew… slew of Jean Costumes
I definitely want her in the red/yellow X-Factor costume (I want the whole team in their X-Factor suits)
An updated figure in the training suit wouldn’t be bad.
And I’ve got pretty decent versions of the character in her green phoenix and Dark Phoenix costumes, but I have to say the Black/Red Phoenix outfit looks pretty sharp and I’d buy that one
If we got the whole team in their Morrison era gear I guess I’d get that one.
Otherwise the rest of the costumes feel transitory and unnecessary for me.
750 - Chimera - yeah she’s cool. Love the dragon effect and would be awesome to get her with that, though it’s hard to imagine Hasbro executing on a relatively minor character like that. Plus I’d really want Scalphunter and Blockbuster and others to go with her.
Graviton on the other hand is a huge want… nay, need for my collection. I’m partial to the earlier costume from the WCA cover… but I’d take him in whatever look they make.
751 - Enfant Terrible is a pass. Oversized, weird looking alien. There’s nothing wrong with that – but there’s SO much stuff that I need and want them to get to I’d be irritated if they used resources on a character like this first.
Maximus the Mad is another HUGE YES. I won’t be happy until I have the entire Inhumans Royal Family in my collection and Maximus is a big part of that. I need Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, Lockjaw and Maximus at a minimum. Of his various looks I’m not sure I’m partial to one over the others – but I guess the green armored look is the one that resonate the most.
Yes to Maximus the Mad in one of his crazy armored looks.
Yes to both Infant and Maximus. So hard to choose a Maximus costume since he's never really had an iconic costume and the ones he has are either boring or bat shit crazy.
While I wouldn't turn either of these characters down. There are so many other characters I'd rather have way before either of these.
Would take Maximus, but he’s not the first Inhuman on my list right now. Lockjaw, then Gorgon, then Crystal, then Triton, then Maximus.
Maximus is practically a necessity to accompany the other Inhumans.
As for the Infant, he’s not not one I’m dying for, but I wouldn’t say no to him.
Infant Terrible is a pass. Maybe as a small pack in with another figure, but no real interest otherwise.
Maximus The Mad would only be a yes with a Kirby era design (the crazier the better).
I'm surprised to find myself wanting more than one Maximus, but I guess I do. I want one of his ridiculous crazy armored looks, because of course I do. But I'd also like a version in his more modern black robes as that is how he has appeared in some key stories like War of Kings and Infinity. So, two Maximuses please.
L'enfant would also be very, very cool to see made. I also didn't realize that this is the same "Delinquent" that shows up in Annihilation, which is fun to learn!
Maria, yes please, Banshee, sure, maybe the original costume, for those who want it. :3
I enjoyed that run of Heroes for Hire so I'd take Tarantula. Banshee's green Giant-Size look is a must.
I think there might be some support for a Banshee figure.
For lady Tarantula - I wouldn't mind adding her to the shelf and I'd pick her up if she were released as part of the line.
Banshee is a clear "duh"... At this point it's just trolling by Hasbro that we don't have an updated figure of his classic costume. It's so beyond overdue it's painful. The idea that we have Black Tom and Theresa in our collections but no classic Sean is mind boggling.
In addition to the much needed classic green and yellow - I would also welcome some of the other iterations - maybe a jacketed Generation X version would be good.
