@ramkablam Hey, as I said, anyone can step up with offerings for a day.  I’m trying to stick to deep cuts, to let Beamish continue with his shoebox when he gets back.

So,  seriously -  since I can't see the pictures DH posted I tried to google the Surge character mentioned here and the only thing that comes up is the X-Men character,  so I legitimately can't even find out what the character looks like.

I checked the thread on mobile and the pics work there -  so yeah, definitely never encountered that guy before.

And I'm thinking that since Marvel has a more recent and more relevant character using that name now there's a 0% chance they make him into a figure.

Posting images:

Quick guide for adding images to your post 1. go to Imgur upload 2. select the images you want to post 3. once the images are upload click copy link 4. paste into your post. please note that you need to add .jpg to the end of the link or it will just appear as a hyper link 5. image should appear in the post

I just ask that you do me a flavor, and let us know when you intend to post, to avoid confusion.  I’ve got some lined up I can use fir tomorrow, unless you want to take it

Ok 😀 I was thinking of the Joseph Wade Scarlet Spider. 😀 https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Joseph_Wade_(Earth-616)

Man DetectiveHoag you are doing a great job, and talk about some deep cuts.  I kind of remember Ganymede, but no idea about the 90s Surge.

Both have some interesting designs, but both would be a pass.  Well maybe on sale for Surge.

No idea who Surge is, but that’s a great character design. I’d buy a figure based on the look alone. He’d fit well enough in Star Wars, too.

Godspeed, Beamish! Hope your family situation is resolved favorably. Prayers for you & yours.

The recent standouts to me, that I would enthusiastically get behind, are Shaper of Worlds & Belasco. I had fond memories of the former from the Batman/Hulk team-up book produced in the 80's, and the latter made an impression on me in the Magik mini-series a couple years later. Joseph Wade Scarlet Spider & Surge are cool designs that I *might* consider if the figures were executed well.

Coming back down to Earth(s), today’s offerings  are:

Scarlet Spider (Joseph Wade), a request from Basil Elks:

A master villain from another Earth, Master Menace:

and from the “who the *bleep* category, I give you Oort, the Living Comet

I'd be a "YES" for all three for the following reasons:

Scarlet Spider - Because my youngest son would happily add that to his Spider-verse shelf.

Master Menace because he's a Squadron Supreme villain and I'm all in for that team/world.

Oort the Living Comet because he's so classically goofy I must have him.
