First of all,  best wishes and take care Beamish.

As for Belasco, that's a huge YES from me.  The character is great, and important to X-mythos and looks cool.    Would love to get a 3-pack with Belasco, S'ym and either Goblin Queen or a decked out Darkchild Illyana Rasputin.

Heck,  I'd even take a Belasco, Ka-Zar and Zabu 3-pack as a nod to his first appearance.   But I'mma need a Belasco, fam.

My prayers are with you and yours Beamish.  Best wishes.

Belasco is not a strong desire for me, but I know he has a following.  I’d probably get him on clearance in his classic look, but not one I would go out of my way for.

Hoping for a quick resolution to your family stuff, Beamish. Thanks for all you do with this thread, it’s gotta take a lot of time to research images and put these posts together. It’s certainly not unappreciated.

Sending you well wishes and positive vibes Beamish.  I hope everything works out and you can come back sooner or later.

As for Belasco I would probably pass.  Maybe on sale.  Never was a big fan and didn't read much with him in it so not a big want personally.

Good Luck Bud, I always liked this thread as it brought back lots of adolescent memories and renewed vigor some 90s X-Men and Spider-man stuff. Thank you for that!

With Beamish taking a leave of absence, I thought to continue the spirit of the thread, until his return.  Stepping in as guest host for the day, I thought I’d dig deep as not to interfere with the shoe box.  Hopefully he’ll return soon.  In the meantime, I offer:

Springheeled Jack

Madam Web

Hot Shot

@detectivehoag Thanks for doing that.  How do you post pics?  I would be willing to add a pick here and there as well to try and keep the thread alive until Beamish returns.  Just need to know how to post pics.  I know how to post a link, but pics I'm not sure about.

As for today's choices:

Springheeled Jack - Don't know this character at all.  I would have guessed a Ghost Rider if I was asked.  Overall a cool design, but not sure I would pick him up except on sale.

Madam Web -  Those Hostess (?) ad mini comics really had some funky characters.  I like this design for Madam Web, but not something I would pick up, especially before a classic MW with web throne.

Hot Shot - Another who?  Kind of funny/funky design, but not someone I would pick up with that look, maybe a more modern look.

I’m not familiar with that Springheeled Jack, but if that’s a Victorian Ghost Rider take on the character that’s awesome. Though I don’t think I’d get a figure of him.

I’d absolutely be all over both Madame Web and Hotshot if they’re villains from Hostess ads. Those actually had interesting villain designs quite often, and I think they’d look great on a shelf.

Posting images:

Quick guide for adding images to your post 1. go to Imgur upload 2. select the images you want to post 3. once the images are upload click copy link 4. paste into your post. please note that you need to add .jpg to the end of the link or it will just appear as a hyper link 5. image should appear in the post

Your assessments are essentially correct. Jack is an English Spirit of Vengeance, modeling himself off “Jack the Ripper.”

Madam Web and Hot Shot are Hostess villains.  Many of those were goofy, but a few had some nice designs.
as I said, “deep cuts”

Wow, very deep cuts, but the deeper the cut the more likely I am to want them.  So I'm in for all 3!

@detectivehoag Thanks for that, I have gotten used to just posting images directly on a site from some of the other boards I frequent.  I haven't done a direct link to an account somewhere else in a long time.  Guess it's time to get an Imgur account.

Agreed! I'm unfamiliar with the Marvel version of Springheeled Jack, but based on the lore I know otherwise, how could I resist? Off to do some reading up...
