No. Nope. Not a purchase amongst them.

Day #1399 - Doombots

After all these years I realized that any and all versions of Doombots never had a shoebox slip of paper. The Servo-Guards did, but not Doombots Bad Beamish! Doom is not pleased...

Doombots

Doombot 2099

Toybiz gave us a Doombot back in the day.  It was a “chase variant” of their Doctor Doom.  The only way to distinguish them was by removing the face plate.  Fortunately they packaged the figures, Doom and Doombot, unmasked so consumers could tell the difference.  I still have mine.
I look at many of those images, and think the writers and artists have lost sight of what the Doombots were intended to be.  They were meant to look and act like Doom in Doom’s absence.  Not to warp themselves into mechanical monsters that bare the slimmest resemblance to Doom.
if Hasbro is going to tackle Doombots, I think I like them subtly different from Doom, but still close enough to capture the idea of what they’re supposed to be like.  I would probably purchase then.  Maybe a Doombot two-pack…or a Doombot / Kristoff two pack..

I also still have that original ToyBiz Doombot variant and of course I'm using the Doom with the alternate Doombot head from the Cabal 3-pack as a Doombot as well. I'm expecting that we'll get that Cabal Doom / Doombot combo re-issued in retro card packaging at some point as a stand alone release.

I also use a Toy Biz 12" Doom figure as a giant Doombot.

Regardless, I'd always buy more!

Count me among those that still have the TiyBiz Doombot, but I'd take an updated version. I missed out on the Cabal 3 pack and with all the recent re-releases maybe I'll get another chance at it. What I really want is a couple or more of Doom's Servo Guards to flank him in my display.

Congratulations on a great run Beamish 😎

All in for any Doombots.

Bill Foster Goliath is the only giant man character I'd want.

I passed on the Haslab Giant Man because I felt that he was too large, plus I don't have room for another huge figure. I already have the Sentinel and Galactus. That being said, I would love to see all of the "giant" men around the 12"-14" size. Atlas, Bill Foster, Goliath (all versions, including Hawkeye) and however else they want to throw in.

Still waiting on that Atlas, Hasbro.   *hint. hint*.
I’d take a Bill Foster.  A giant Clint Barton.  A reissue of Ice Giant.  As well.

on a side note.  If there’s interest, per Beasmish’s suggestion, I’d be willing to fill in some of gaps between One-a-week entries.  Let me know.

I'd buy all except a giant Scott Lang, I don't need that. Atlas would be my biggest want from the group, though.

I'd likely buy them, but not a priority for me.
