They’d both look good on a shelf.
Pass on Matador, but a HUGE YES to Mandrill. His appearances in Eath’s Mightiest Heroes alone make him a necessity on the shelf.
Hell yes!!! I NEED both.
This doesn't happen often, but I'd be down for both. Matador because it's a fun look and something a little different for my D list villain collection. And Mandrill for the EMH appearances alone. Great off the wall choices!
Yes to 80's Marrina and Mandrill. I'd be a pass on Yon-Rogg and Matador.
I've mostly been a lurker on this revamped board, but I will come out of the woodwork to enthusiastically support Mandrill, one of my grail ML figures.
Of course to Matador and Mandril. Pretty high grade of Marvel silliness.
Catch-up time:
Infinity. Yep. I'm a sucker for the cosmic side of the Marvel universe so I would gladly pick her up.
Champions of Xandar. Hell to the Yeah. One of my picks before was Diamond Head so him and the rest of the crew would be an easy pick up for me. Classic look for most, though a more modern look for some would be okay as well.
Yon-Rogg. Nah. Not a big Captain Marvel fan and while he is important to her story, and a Kree, I'm not really interested.
Marina. Of course. I need more Alpha Flight team members, and she is a pretty big hole in the more classic team. Just her first look though, nothing modern or mutated monster.
Matador. One of the few highlights from the She-Hulk show, and one of the few MCU over comic choices I would make. However since this is the comic version I would pass though I do like the more modern look with the skulls down the side of his limbs.
Mandrill. I think originally I was in favour of getting him, but now I don't really feel like he is important enough to warrant a purchase for my collection. Maybe on sale.
Yes to Starbrand. I've wanted one for a while now. FA and modern, please.
Yes to both, preferably the classic versions of both. 😀
Yes to modern Star Brand and the armored style Cyclone.
Pass on Starbrand.
Yes to both the first (classic) and third (Bagley long hair) Cyclones.
OK…. Another weekend catch up for this thread.
First and foremost
Archive 61 - Marrina
Absolute and unequivocal YES and in a hurry please. I frankly am stunned that they haven’t done this figure already. She’s the last cast member from Alpha Flight #1 not to have a figure. She seems super easy to do and would be some recolored limbs and a head away from a New Warriros Namorita as well, so a nice two for one double dip. Gotta give it to us Hasbro
707 - Yon-Rogg/Magnitron
I don’t need a ton of Kree uniformed antagonists all over my collection, but Yon-Rogg is a biggy, they blue parts of his uniform set him apart and he is important to the overall Captain Marvel Mythos, so I wouldn’t mind having him. The Magnitron get up is more interesting. It’s not a version of the character I can say I’ve spent any time with, but it would look cool as a figure and that might be enough.
Archive 62 – Mandrill
Huge want of mine. Love this character, love the look, really, really want him as a Legends figure – in fact there’s a high likelihood I would buy multiples. I need this figure in my collection in a big way and really would love to see him included in the line.
708 - Matador
This is not a character I would say I’m dying to get. The look is cool enough, especially on the second version - and I’d buy it if they made it probably, but I won’t be broken up if they don’t get to this guy
709 - Starbrand
Was never a fan of the New Universe when it debuted. I know they tried to rehab it by dragging some of the characters into the modern Marvel Universe in Avengers. But this isn’t a character I have any nostalgic affinity for, and am not desperate to own as a figure. If they made one and included it in a Legends wave, I’m sure I’d cave and pick it up - but I won’t be advocating for it.
Archive 63 - Cyclone
Sure – yep. I even like the various different iterations of the character and costume. I would even pick up the silver age version and a more modern one. I really like the second image of the Pierre version of the character…
I'd get Starbrand from the Hickman Avengers and Pierre Cyclone in that Patrick Zircher art from the Thunderbolts era.
