Pretty much down for all the choices today, outside of the Howling Commandos. Obviously the character would determine how much I would want them.
I'd get most of these. 😀
GIMMIE !! GIMMIE !!
The Howling Commandos aren’t a big priority for me, but I’ll take everyone else pictured.
also The Fin, The Challenger, GA Falcon, Blonde Phantom, Sun Girl, The Mighty Destroyer..
ah, just give them all to me. Yesterday!
Lots of opportunities for boxsets here! I'd be in for most, if not all.
Liberty Legion and The Twelve would be top picks for me.
There are select members from all those teams I’d want, but I can’t say I’d want them all. I’d pick them up if they were made, but like always there are other characters I’d prefer first.
Pretty much this.
I had Invaders #20 as a kid. So everyone on that cover is a big YES!
Not a reader of Angela, so not familiar with Sera, so pass.
Yes to Terror Inc. First few images preferred.
I'd get both, especially the classic 90s Terror inc look. <3
Double pass today. There are other FAR more important Asgardian-adjacent characters I want before someone like Sera, who I knew nothing about before just reading her (convoluted) story just now. Not much of a fan of the whole 10th Realm of Heven thing, truthfully.
And less than zero interest in Terror Inc.
Double pass today.
I know little about either character and don't really feel that their looks are all that great.
Boy Howdy - holiday weekend catch up and there was ALOT
The Freedom Fighters/All Star Squadron homage from the Crusaders is kind of hilarious?
Uncle Sam à Spirit of 76
Black Condor à Captain Wings
Human Bomb à Thunderfist
Phantom Lady à Ghost Girl
Johnny Thunder à Tommy Lightning
Doll Man à Dyna-mite
I was sad I didn’t get all of those characters done in my DC collection (only getting Uncle Sam from Mattel hurt) = but I’m not nearly as desperate for the Marvel counterparts. Don’t get me wrong - if Hasbro announced it was releasing a six pack of the team I’d buy it; but there is a long list of characters I want on my shelves ahead of these ripoffs of the DC team that preceded them. I mean we don’t even have a proper set of Invaders yet, so we shouldn’t be talking about these guys.
Nightcat was such a dumb concept. We already have Dazzler for the pop star as super hero thing and this was such a lame attempt at forced cross platform synergy that didn’t work on either end of the spectrum. The comic effort sucked hard and the real world and the album was a total flop. Even getting Jim Lee to design the costume and do promo art couldn’t save it. I do not need a figure commemorating one of Marvel’s biggest crash and burns ever.
I guess we do have an Eric O’grady Ant Man figure already in the black and red costume, but I wouldn’t be totally opposed to a version that came in the red and silver suit. Honestly the white (silver?) costume with the red accents is pretty fire as well.
All Winners Squad - so this is more or less the core invaders plus a couple right of golden age characters right? The Angel, Black Marvel, Whizzer, Miss America. So, yes, I’d buy them all
Liberty Legion - we add a few more here - Red Raven, Blue Diamond, Patriot, Thin Man, Jack Frost…. So Red Raven and Blue Diamond are actually fairly high on my list of wants - Thin Man and Jack Frost… not as much
Howling Commandos - I’m not dying for a set of guys in military fatigues, but I appreciate them and would probably pick them up if they got released.
As for the Invaders - So, yes for sure Hammond Torch, Toro, new (good) Bucky, Spitfire, Blazing Skull, Whizzer, Miss America, Thin Man, Blond Phantom, The Fin, Major Mapleleaf, Silver Scorpion, Golden Age Vision, Iron Cross, Radiance - let’s get them ALL
Kid Commandos - already listed Bucky and Toro more than once but Golden Girl and Human Top can also join the party.
The Twelve - This is a comic I didn’t read and the list of characters is entirely unknown to me Blue Blade? Captain Wonder? Dynamic Man? Laughing Mask? Don’t know any of them. I read the synopsis and it reads like a Marvel spin on the Watchmen using more modern social issues - homophobia, reacism, etc. Even the framing device of the Phantom Reporter figuring out who killed Blue Blade is the quintessential framing device that started the Watchmen off. Anyway - all that to say I don’t need a single one of these in figure form…
Sera - I’m sorry, who? The pictures in the white dress would make one of the most boring action figures ever… so hard pass there. The version in the Valkyrie adjacent armor wouldn’t be awful. I’d want that as a figure regardless of the fact that I have absolutely no idea who Sera is.
Terror Inc. - Not a favorite of mine, but the character is necessary. We need him in the collection – he deserves a figure. Heck the version depicted on the trading card wouldn’t require almost any new tooling. They have the suit and tie pieces and trenchcoat piece tooled up – it would literally require a new head and hat.
Sera is an easy pass. Read the issues with her and Angela and she was utterly forgettable.
Terror Inc. is not a character I'm looking to add to the collection. He would probably be a "maybe on sale/clearance" pick up. Prefer the newer look over the cat whiskers look.
Big ol' pile of HELL YEAH!!! For today's picks.
Firepower in his first look is a big want for me. The other looks not so much.
Aegis in his unreleased Toybiz Iron Man version would be my preference.
