IT isn’t high n my wanted list, but IT would would be cool to get IT.  Hopefully I wouldn’t have to search high and low for IT.  Likely IT would be be a nice BAF for a desirable wave, so IT wouldn’t be hard to track down.

Lord Armageddon didn’t make much of an impression on me, so he’s not much of want.

@panthercult Hardly ridiculous just because you disagree.   It is just how I feel about the character, it is not some terrible take that is set in stone that should be taken as gospel.   Opinion simple as that.

So sure, it's perfectly valid to not want Jolt as a figure.   I'm not questioning at all your feelings about the character.

The only thing I was disputing was the idea that she wasn't part of core line up.   But I guess your assertion of her not being part of the original line up is technically true in a very narrow sense that she wasn't part of the team  that debuted in the Incredible Hulk.   But she joined the team immediately thereafter in issue #1 of their series and was central to the story of that team for its first two+ years of existence.    She was the foil and source of tension between what Zemo and Moonstone wanted and what Songbird, Atlas and Mach-1 wanted out of the team.

So like I said your position to me was similar to wanting Avengers - but only the five characters that appeared in issue 1 -  Thor, Hulk, chunky Golden Iron Man, Ant Man and Wasp  and that's it.   Sure you're allowed to want that and only that - but it seems extremely and oddly limiting.

To my thinking - if you don't want Jolt, why do you want any Thunderbolts at all?   Why not just want the characters in their Masters of Evil personas?   They literally appeared one time in the Thunderbolts costumes before Jolt joined the team.

I'd buy both, but It the Living Colossus would be the higher priority to me. Right now I've got a repainted 12" roto Thing figure from the early Fantastic Four movies as a stand in for It, tLC in my collection.

As for today's choices... Lord Armageddon is fine.   it's definitely a 90's design, but not a terrible one.   I loved Peter David's entire Hulk run, so I'd probably pick up the figure if he showed up in the line.

It, the Living Colossus -  there are a lot of figures I'd want in a deluxe 12 to 15 inch format, and the roster is deep before it gets to It.   That being said,  he'd probably be very easy to do on a mostly blank body - just some grey paint with painted cracks would work -  I don't think they'd do a uniquely textured body of that size rather than reuse smooth blank parts and achieve the stone effect with pain.   But he's another one that if they released it I'd buy it.

@panthercult

Actually the original T-bolts also appeared in Tales of the Marvel Universe #1 before Jolt joined.

Pass on Lord Armageddon.

IT might be fun depending on the execution.

@panthercult Yeah no worries man I get it.   I just kind of always think of the "original" Thunderbolts as the first 5 villains-to-heroes.

Of course there are other members, Jolt specifically is an early/founding member (depending on POV).  There was also, who I remember right now, Man-Killer and Cyclone.  Neither of whom I think of either.  Hawkeye?  Avenger over Thunderbolt.  Radioactive Man?  Master of Evil over Thunderbolt though his time on the Thunderbolts was enjoyable.

How about this?  Complete the first five members and then move on to Jolt and the others?  😎

Oh and can we get an updated Radioactive Man now that I think about it.

For today I would pass on Lord Armageddon.

I would be down for It The Living Colossus but I can't see them getting him done.

No love for Armageddon or for It either, really. Cool stories, but boring design for a character that would take up so much space in the collection.

So, I know I'm beating a totally dead horse at this point -

but Mankiller never joined the Thunderbolts... she fought against them on numerous occasions in that persona -  and appeared as a civilian bartender in an issue or two -  then, she changed her name to Amazon, at which point she did join the Thunderbolts, but that was five and a half years into the series -  issue 67.     So not at all equivalent with Jolt in terms of Thunderbolts team members.

Cyclone(3) was a similar story - and he stuck around for only like four or five issues.

Hawkeye is definitely an Avenger over a Thunderbolt -  though he was the leader of the team for nearly five years, he didn't join until two years into the run.

Radioactive Man joined very, very late - the same time as Blizzard, Speed Demon, Nighthawk and Joystick.

LIke, none of these characters are even close to the same in terms of foundational importance to the team as Jolt.  They are orders of magnitude different.   It would be like me suggesting that Gilgamesh was just as important for an Avengers line up as Scarlet Witch.

Anyway, I'll let it go now.   Obviously MY Thunderbolts team cannot be complete without a Jolt figure - so hopefully Hasbro decides to do ALL of the remaining members of the team from the first year of their run.
