Third double pass for me.
I'd buy both but would rather have the Honey Badger / Scout.
I like the look of Piecemeal.
Maybe to both Piecemeal and Honey Badger. No real pressing desire for them, but I can imagine them being cool looking toys that I'd be tempted by.
A hearty HELL YES to Death-Stalker! I had that issue of Daredevil as a kid, and I always thought he was a cool, sinister, mysterious looking villain.
As much as I enjoyed Saturnyne in Captain Britain and Excalibur, I'm not particularly pining for a figure of she or Courtney Ross. So I'd be a pass unless they'd be in a BaF wave I wanted.
So catch up from long weekend and a day of jury duty.
Sandman - huge yes to the classic green costume. I love that look. Pass for all of the other, less good costumes they put him in.
The Gatherers - obviously I want a Swordsman figure - but I don’t care if I then get a “Gatherers Swordsman too.
Proctor would be a yes for me very classic 90’s Epting design.
Magdalene - sure yes. Armored amazon types are always welcome.
Jocasta – gold colored with a few updgrades – sure, should be easy and would be fun.
Cassandra isn’t entirely necessary but wouldn’t be bad to have
Sloth is a super fun design and I would love a figure of that. Seems like it could be pretty easy to do with the existing Beast body, a new head and an armor overlay for the shoulder pads
And of course my most wanted of all the Gatherers - COAL TIGER. We know why, but regardless he would be a fun and awesome figure to have. In fact, I’m shocked I haven’t made the custom already.
I’d be a pass on the rest, I don’t remember them distinctly from those books – the vision clone, the blank, whoever else. But a handful of them would be fun – and fairly easy to do.
Zsen - I’ll be honest I have absolutely no idea who this character is at all. I did not read the Arakko storyline in X-Men and thus have no frame of reference for this lady. But, she looks pretty cool and as an interesting looking character that is X-Men adjacent I would likely pick up the figure if It got made.
Death-Stalker would be a yes. First of all - the suited body parts are nice. The cape-jacket would be tough to do because a rubber/plastic jacket would make the figure a statue but man do I not love the way Legends does cloth. The character design is nice though and we don’t have enough Daredevil antagonists in the line, so I’d probably still buy it even if I’m skeptical how well Hasbro could make it work.
Piecemeal - so honestly the character in images 2 and 3 is pretty fun looking and would make an awesome action figure, even if I am struggling to remember him from the books - and I definitely read Hulk during the David run depicted – and the Gary Frank art is nice. So, I think I’d pick this figure up if it got made just for the sheer craziness of the design. They could even pack in an extra Hulk head to swap on to replicate the cover of Hulk 407.
Honey Badger - sure – big yes to that one. Especially love her look in that 4th image depicted and would happily add that figure to my collection.
Courtney Ross - so a pass on Courtney in her civilian garb. Not interesting enough to warrant a figure.
Saturnyne on the other hand - big ol’ yes please on that. I feel like my Excalibur corner of my collection couldn’t possibly be complete without some version of Saturnyne. Maybe not the nazi clad one, but any of the other depictions would serve and I’d get her.
Image one of Courtney seems like it could get a boost by incorporating an alternate Val Cooper head. I’ll admit she’d probably be a peg warmer as a solo release, but incorporating her in a multi-pack would be cool, or a two pack with a first appearance Captain Britain.
Saturnyne and Sat-yr-9 would be cool to have. Not necessarily high on my list, but I’d welcome them.
I'd get her. 🙂
Double pass for me today.
I’d absolutely buy a Piecemeal. Blue skull face, rather than Hulk head, please.
Hulk badly needs some more baddies to whale on.
No interest in Saturnyne even though she was a big part of the Krakoa era.
So... I'm going to be honest. I don't remember Praxagora at all. I definitely read all of the Annihilation books, but that character made zero impression apparently. Not something I need, not something I would miss if it was never mentioned again.
Gateway, on the other hand is obviously must have. He was a huge part of the X-Men story for years. Not sure if they would include two lower half options, one with moveable legs and one permanently sculpted into the lotus position or whatever, but it's definitely a figure I want for my X-Men collection.
Eh, pass on Fangoria, or Plexiglass or whatever their names is. Don’t know the character, and their look isn’t very striking.
Gateway isn’t a high priority for me, but I wouldn’t begrudge seeing him done.
