HUGE YES to Basilisk - loved that character from way back partly because Team-Up and Two-In-One were two of my favorite books as a kid. After X-Men and Avengers Team-Up and Two In One were my go to must have titles. So Basilisk appearing twice in Team Up and once in Two In One seemed to me like he was a big deal villain... I didn't realize he didn't have a ton of appearances outside of those books. I always wondered why he didn't get invited into the Serpent squad... sure a Basilisk is a lizard, not a snake, but look at him, he's snake adjacent enough he should have got the call. Anyway, I want that figure.
I have a Legends figure of Danger. Do I care that it's kind of a crappy figure? No, I do not, because Danger was a crappy character. So she got the figure she deserved and I have a figure of her on my shelf and that's all that's necessary. Please don't waste a slot on another figure of this garbage concept.

Definitely yes on Basilisk. I'll take another Danger too - wouldn't be my top want, but it seems obvious she'll get remade. The design could make a much, much cooler figure than what we got with the right paintwork, so hopefully they knock it out of the park.

Oh thank goodness. I tend to think of you as intelligent and having good taste (your fandom of OSU aside) but knew how devoted you are to Whedon's X-Men and so was dreading to see you come to the defense of by far his worst idea on the X-Men. Happy to see your judgement could be trusted after all 😉
Yes to Basilisk! I'd get a Danger re-do, but as others have said not one I'm particularly clamoring for on the re-do front.

It was a garbage idea - the Danger Room developed sentience and decided to take revenge on the X-Men. Stupid, awful - I hated all of it.
Honestly I could have lived with the idea that the Danger Room had developed some level of sentience and whatever - but the manifestation in physical form as a sexy lady robot and the revenge mision vendetta to destroy Xavier and everything that came after was just so, so bad. Absolutely one of my least favorite non-Chuck Austen X-Men ideas ever.
