Yes to both! Zaran has a cool look and would work with either Shang-Chi or Batroc and the Cap villains (which is where I'd put him, and which means we'd need Machete to go with him).
Living Monolith is a big want for me. He'd be so cool towering over the X-villains shelf.
I’m all for a Machete too. The trick with Machete, is picking one. There have been four of them. Poor “Mama Machete”.. she’s lost so many sons.
@detectivehoag I'd want the OG Machete, but as long as the look is close enough (like in your second image), I'm fine with that. If we complete Batroc's Brigade in 2025, I'll be a happy collector.
@akajomiha
Truthfully, the first three Machetes were all brothers, and looked very much alike. Just their gear differed slightly. An amalgamated Machete could probably stand in for any of them.
Saracen isn’t a huge want of mine. His look is fairly generic, and not eye catching. To anyone that wants him, more power to ya, but he’s a pass for me.
Bloodaxe, on the other hand, is a yes. The look is more aesthetically appealing, and Thunderstrike could use some his own rogues.
I'd be a double pass on Saracen and Bloodaxe. Like mentioned above, Saracen is just a little too generic looking, and I wasn't into that era of Thor, so Bloodaxe looks like S&M Red Skull on steroids to my uninitiated eye.
I'd get them all. 🙂 I'd prefer the series 2 card look, for Saracen.
Saracen isn't high on my list of wants or needs - but the initial guy looks pretty easy to make out of existing parts. The vampire is even less interesting to me.
Bloodaxe is one of those over the top hilarious designs that would make an absolutely great action figure. I would absolutely buy him in Legends if the decided to make him.
Pass on Saracen but Bloodaxe would be fun to get
I'm only familiar with Saracen because of that trading card. I've never seen a comic appearance. Crazily enough, those cards are enough excuse for me to want the character in figure form. Can always use more Punisher rogues/street level threats.
I also don't know much about Bloodaxe other than the fact that he fought Thunderstrike. And that feels like enough reason yet again to justify a figure.
Reluctant yes to both.
Man I first read that as saccharin. Anyways I don't find the design all that sweet and Saracen would be a pass for me.
Bloodaxe has a fun look and would make a great Legend. So he's a yes, but he better not come before Executioner!
Crazily enough, those cards are enough excuse for me to want the character in figure form.
I'm the same way with the OG Marvel Handbooks. Maximus in a burlap sack? Shirtless Mandarin? Gaea in a green robe? Yep, gimme gimme gimme.
It might take different forms but all of us here suffer from the same sickness ha ha
