Jungle Action Killmonger in the white with red trim would be a day one purchase.  After M'Baku/Man Ape, he is my most wanted Black Panther villain.

i would also pick up the masked version.  That looks pretty cool.

Tarzan would be ok.  Someone to hang out with Kazar if Hasbro is too chicken to make Shanna.

Big ol’ catch up list:

Jackpot -   no to the Mary Jane version -  I hate the idea of Mary Jane as a super hero entirely so I want to pretend this doesn’t exist.

I already said yes to the other version of Jackpot, so I’ll say it again.   I prefer the red and black costume to the green and white, but would accept either for my figure collection.

Santa Claus -  I mean,  I have the best Santa Claus action figure(s) I would ever need from the Naughty or Nice line and definitely don’t need a Marvel Legends specific Santa Claus.    Back in the old Toy Biz days they did convince me to buy a two pack of Spider-Man with a Santa hat and Mary Jane as a slutty Mrs Claus though

Beverly Switzler -  I’m a no on Bev.   As important as she is to the overall Howard storyline, I’m not enough into civilian costumed ladies to add yet another of the infinite red heads populating the Marvel universe to my collection.    And no to a Leah Thompson based figure as well… though nice try tossing in the pick in her undies.

Howard the Duck -  sigh,  I would actually buy a properly executed Howard the Duck action figure.    They’ve given us the unarticulated pack in plug Howard and the low-effort cash grab half statue Howard from the What If,  but a proper, articulated, blue suited comic Howard the Duck would be welcome in my collection.   Hardest of passes on a movie version.

Day 1100:

Shamrock -  HUGE Yes.  I want Shamrock definitely.   I prefer her fully cowled but would take an alt head with the hair flying as pictured.

American Eagle -  Another huge YES.   I love the classic costume with the feathered headdress and would adore a figure of that character.

Devil Dinosaur -  Absolutely.   Although, I decided not to wait and repainted a Jurassic Park Colossal Carnotaurus to be my Devil Dinosaur.     I’d want Moon Boy AND Moon Girl to go with him.

Makkari -  yes to the comic version of the Eternals speedster.   Love the look, love the design and Ikaris could use some back-up

Wizard -  Enormous yes for him.  After Attuma and Diablo he is my most wanted FF Villain at this point.  I honestly can’t believe he hasn’t made it into Legends already

Eye-Boy -  reluctant yes.   The power is gross, the presentation is gross – but all in on mutants is what it is…

Nikki -  100% yes.   I want all of the classic Guardians of the Galaxy and that includes Nikki,  though she is 4th on the list to be made after  Charlie-27, Starhawk and Martinex -  she can come before Aleta.

Owl -  OK, this list is killing it.   Owl is another big yes.   It feels like the parts already mostly exist for this figure – the torso could probably just be Sebastian Shaw, use some suit legs, a new head and the trench coat overlay and you’re there.

Baron Blood -  another huge want.   He’s ready to make it into my actual top 10.  Classic Captain America foe, actual vampire, great look.   This needs to be a figure

Pixie -  Absolutely -  high on the list of most needed X-Men characters for the collection.   She has to be coming soon, I can’t imagine she isn’t.   I want and need this figure.

Spot -  Again -  this is one that I am flat out astonished doesn’t exist in our collections already.   It is literally one of the easiest possible figures Hasbro could produce.    It is a featureless body and head cast in white plastic painted with black circles.    They already have accessories made for the animated movie spot that could probably work.    Just give us the damn figure already, guys.

So that was a yes to ALL 11 of your day 1100 choices.

As for Space Knights -  I wouldn’t say I need any of them really.    But I also would probably buy a number of them if they were made as figures.    Lightstorm’s design seems pretty toyetic and cool.   Starshine is obviously a nice one.    Daystar,  Hammerhand,  Icon all would look pretty nice backing up ROM.

I would laugh hilariously if Hasbro decided to release a figure named Glory Hole … I mean Gloriole

Many of the rest of them are pretty boxy and unwieldy looking and frankly I don’t need a dozen different Space Knights… a small handful would do.

The Young Gods would be a pass.   It’s a big team – twelve people – with a variety of looks and powers, but that never went anywhere.   I honestly don’t remember them from the comics at all – and it looks like maybe they appeared in four comics outside of a nine issue story feature in Marvel Comics Presents.   Not something I need the Legends team wasting resources on when we can’t even get characters I consider major players.

Manifold on the other hand is a big yes.    Love him and want him in my collection as a figure in a big way.

Tarzan would be a fun add to the collection.   He is a super interesting case because the first 11 books featuring Tarzan are now public domain -  meaning Marvel can use the character from those books without paying royalties -  however the name Tarzan is trademarked by ERB,inc – meaning Marvel can’t publish a title called Tarzan without license from ERB – and apparently there is some bad blood between Marvel parent company Disney and the ERB estate over the use of their animated Tarzan and licensing for he Kingdom Hearts game, so that relationship is touchy.      So the bottom line is Marvel could publish a title called “Lord of the Apes” and then refer to the character as Tarzan throughout that book freely.   They just can’t market anything using the name Tarzan.

So then Hasbro could absolutely make a “Lord of the Apes” figure,  but they couldn’t use the name “Tarzan” on the package without license from ERB,inc -  which they might not want to pay for.    Still if they worked it out, I’d buy it.

Erik Killmonger -  obviously this is a huge want of mine.    I would love a figure of the depiction in those first 4 images.     Bonus if they could use the mold from the D&D Guenhwyvar to make a leopard to pack in with him.     I would also love a figure of the armored/masked version of Killmonger from that 9th image.   It’s a great look.      I don’t really need Killmonger in the Black Panther get up.   But that venomized version in the last image is pretty great.

I would probably be a yes on both Tarzan and Killmonger in their 70s era looks.

Yes! Yes! Yes!  If they want to put a battle damaged classic Black Panther with an articulated black panther to make a 2 pack with classic Killmonger and an articulated leopard, I couldn't say no.  Day one purchase!

I dont usually post here because I’m pretty picky, but I have to advocate for Howard and Beverly. While I’m here, I should also add the Owl to my Daredevil villains, and Baron Blood for Cap.

Most importantly though is the fact that we dont yet have a comic Killmonger. He was the breakout character performance in the Black Panther movie. Wtf Hasbro?!

I've been dealing with a whole lot of crap the past few weeks, so I've been MIA on the Fwoosh. I'm not going to try to comment on all of the entries I missed, so I'll just say I REALLY want a classic Satana, and an articulated classic Howard the Duck (the old Toybiz one will be in my display until the day Hasbro finally gives in to reason and does a classic Howard themselves). I'd honestly love Beverly as well!

Baron Blood, Owl, Devil Dinosaur, Tarzan and classic comic Killmonger are all yeses as well.

I'd buy a Spaceknight named "Glory Hole" just for the sheer hilarity of it.

Happy New Year's Eve!

Let's celebrate with an old acquaintance, definitely not forgotten, and quite possibly the best retcon in all comic history.

Day #1104 - 1940's Bucky (MCU), plus 1940's Bucky comic update (Archive Day #

While I'd probably buy a new comic Bucky, it's nothing that I feel like I need and would rather they make someone who has never been done before.

We could definitely use an update on comic Bucky.  The less said about the old one the better.  Yes to a new comic Bucky.

pass on MCU Bucky.

So obviously I don't care about the MCU figure at all.     As for an update of classic 1940's Bucky figure -  I concede he's due for an updated figure,  though I don't care that much about WWII Bucky specifically -  if it was tied in or a segue to those Golden Age characters that were discussed a few days ago - then absolutely.   If it meant I'd get Hammond Torch, Toro, Whizzer and Miss America to round out the All Winners Squad, then sign me up for Bucky.
