Sure.  Beverly is one of the supporting characters that’s a strong presence to accompany the lead character.  Picking a look for her is problematic though.  She doesn’t have one prominent look.
I’d take a Beverly, but not without a proper comic Howard  the Duck.  Not a “human body” Howard, but a proper anthropomorphic duck Howard, like his original series.
Put these two in a package together, or in a three pack with Dr. Bong.

Yes to classic versions of both, for me. 🙂

I still have the OG Marvel Legends Howard that came with the Silver Surfer, but I'd gladly buy an updated version along with Bev!

Catch up. I'd be a pass on Jackpot, Santa, Beverly Switzler and Howard.

I'd buy comic Beverly (preferably in that costume on that 2nd Howard comic). I don't know that I really need another Howard himself as I already have both the Toy Biz and the What If versions.

I'd have no interest in figures from the 80s movie even though that was one of my favorite flicks growing up! I didn't know it at the time but that was my first ever exposure to Marvel in any shape or form. I lived in the middle of nowhere and never read a comic until 2010 (at the age of 35) when a comic book store opened in my new adopted hometown as an adult. I also didn't have cable as a kid so never saw any Marvel cartoons either. I definitely remember renting Howard on VHS from our local video store, though!

On a side note, I'd definitely buy a figure of Howard's new lady Darcy though too! Kat Dennings in plastic? Yes, please!

The ToyBiz figure is pretty much a perfect representation of 70s Howard but an update with better articulation would be cool.

Beverly's a fun character but not distinctive enough to need a figure. The Mary Jane Watson figure could be a decent stand-in if need be.

I would be down for a Santa Claus figure from ML.

Not interested in Beverly, or frankly Howard, as figures.

Day #1100 - My Kids Pick!

I was looking for a clever way to celebrate Day 1100, some issue tie-in or something like that, but I just couldn't come up with anything. So, with my kids on either side of me and one on my lap, I scrolled through all 1099 entries so far (well, maybe the first 300 or so because they got antsy) and let them pick 9 characters, 3 each (mostly by which name looked cool), and I picked the last two characters for #11. They also picked the pictures.

Can you guess which two I picked?

Shamrock

American Eagle

Devil Dinasaur

Makkari

Wizard

Eye Boy

Nikki (they have a Cousin "Nicki" Nicole)

Owl

Baron Blood

Pixie

Spot

I consider Wizard, Owl and Baron Blood must-haves. Don't think I'd be able to resist Shamrock and American Eagle. Makkari and Spot would be "wait for a sale". The rest would be an easy pass for me.

I'd buy each and every one of these! However Pixie is definitely my most wanted of the group and it's not close. She's #2 on most wanted list behind only Rockslide and just ahead of Anole and Armor.
