Yellowjacket is in need of an update.  We’ve gotten figures of Goliath, Giant-man, and Hank Pym the Scientific Adventurer.  Frankly Hank is one of those characters who could have a wave all to himself with the amount of looks he’s had.  While I don’t require any more Pyms, I’m down for any more versions they care to make.

I'm happy with the Hank's I already have.

That said, I'd be up for a new Yellow Jacket and possibly a version of the blue/yellow Goliath.  But I wouldn't want him HasLab sized.  Maybe a 12" version would do.

Yellowjacket is my favorite identity of Pym. That costume is the absolute best. I’ve customized it many times. But I’d like an official version soon. Regular 6” is fine, but would definitely take one at 12-15-18”.

  • Would definitely take an updated classic Yellow Jacket with a min version. A redone classic blue and yellow Goliath in 6 inch scale and maybe a 12 to 16 in version would also be nice.

I'm sure that I'd buy both, but neither are high on my list of desired figures.

I would probably pass on both of these.

Gargantus would have to be big.  I just want other larger characters more to fill out the limited space I have left. Hello Simonson Surtur  or a better Frost Giant or Terminus or the Sphinx, heck even Foom would be higher on my list. 🙂

I just don't have any connection to the Maxam character.

I initially misread the first character as Gargantua,

who I’d take over either of the Gargantus options.  These two would be passes for me.

Maxim isn’t high on my list of desired characters.  Nothing against him, but I never really connected with the character.  I could see him being part of the Legends line, and I might pick him up.  He might make a good BAF.

Going back to Hank, there's still a few versions of him that rank pretty high on my wants list. Yellowjacket, blue & yellow Goliath, and his 90's looks would all be immediate purchases.

Just a week ago I found a good deal on the Marvel Universe Gigantic Battles blue & yellow Giant-Man - the one based on the Icons Daredevil/Cyclops body. Hasn't arrived yet but I know what I'm in for - it's not a great figure, but that was such a niche look he wore for a short time and is unlikely to ever be made again I figured it was worth picking up.

I love the Marvel Monsters but it's hard to imagine having another big dragon character fighting Foom for prominence. I'd definitely buy him in the unlikely event he was made. Ditto for a 10 foot tall caveman - absolutely I'm buying that in year 55 of ML when they've made literally everyone else.

Maxam has a spot on my shelf with the other Infinity Watchers they have and hopefully will make. He's a goofy character I'd be happy to get.

I initially thought it was Gargantua as well, who I’d likewise take.

As for today’s offerings, they’re both passes. No desire for a big monster, and I never liked Maxam. Always thought he was a dumb character.

Neither Garantus or Maxam are characters I am looking to get in my collection, however I could be tempted for both depending on execution and price.

Gargantus would be both price and execution dependent, and my preference would be for those first couple pics.

Maxam is price dependent.   I mean he is basically Thanos' body with a skirt piece, different head and colours.   So I would be willing to pick him up, but only on sale.

I'd get Maxam with some other Watchers.

I'm in for a new updated Yellowjacket figure, and I'd be in for his initial Busiek/Pérez Giant-Man look. But otherwise, I'm happy with the Hanks we've got already. Wouldn't mind an actual giant blue-and-yellow Goliath though.

These are my thoughts on Pym as well.

I'd pass on Gargantus, but always liked the visuals of Maxam, so would pick him up.

OK – quick catch-up

Hank Pym

So -  I’m pretty set on Giant Man at this point, but there is one version of that I need.   I really want the head sock, shoulder pouches version of Giant Man.    I know it’s a ridiculous look – but it is so specifically of it’s era that I really feel it’s necessary.    It’s one of my favorite customs I made from the 5” Toy Biz line ouf of a 10” Johnny Storm.

We also, obviously need an updated Yellow Jacket figure.   Long overdue.    I’d probably also take an easy head swap of a Pym head on a Banner in a Lab Coat body.    We have jumpsuit Hank, but not early, lab coat working on Ultron Hank.

But beyond that, I’d probably be good.

I don’t need a Gargantus, although the first version might be fun as one of those monsters from the depths summoned by Namor or Attuma to threaten the surface dwellers -  but I don’t have an Attuma, so I that wouldn’t work very well anyway.

As for Maxam – yes.   I’d definitely buy him  to back up Adam Warlock and join the oversized Drax figure on my Infinity Watch team.
