I'd pass on today's characters.

Neither of these are pressing desires for my collection, but I wouldn’t begrudge them being made.

Pass on Shadow Knight, would buy an 80's Phastos.

This. Though to be honest, I like the modern Phastos designs as well so I’d be open to any, though Classic is always preferred.

Shadow Knight looks cool. I am not familiar with the character, but there are several cool looks here.

For Phastos, I’d consider getting the modern style version.

A maybe on Shadow Knight with his "dark" Moon Knight look.

Phastos in his modern costume would be my preference because they did a pretty good good updating his look.  Second choice would, of course, be his MU Handbook look.

Day #1083 - U-Man, plus Cardiac (Archive Day #378)

NOTE - this is a rare instance where I'm using images depicting something I absolutely hate. If anybody would like me to remove certain pictures of U-Man, I'll remove them immediately.

Fully in for both today. U-Man not only touches on Marvel's sadly-neglected Golden Age / Invaders corner, but also contributes to a Namor villain spot. And Cardiac is LONG, LONG wanted by darn near everyone it seems, and I've always thought he had a cool visual.

Addressing the more problematic part of Merrano's costume, I'd expect (and be fine with) either a simple red belt buckle, or a Hydra symbol in place of the existing symbol.

I'd get both. I'm perfectly happy having U-Man with a plain red belt buckle.  Cardiac's first look please.

Definitely in for both.

Merrano would be a great  Legends addition.  Made with a plain red belt buckle like image 5, That nasty symbol being such a small part of his uniform, makes its elimination barely noticeable, and lends itself to a modern version of the character.

Cardiac is a highly demanded Spidey character, with a pretty toyetic original look.  He’d likely sell well.  Bring him on.

Bring them both on.

Absolutely a huge yes for both today.

U-Man is maybe my third or fourth most wanted Atlantean.    Attuma is first and classic pink skinned, green suited Namorita is second... and Orka is probably third -  but U-Man is next.    He's awesome, and while his nazi teammates are unlikely to get figures he should definitely be on the table.

And Cardiac is squarely in my Top 5 of Spider-Man wants at this point -  Spot and Man Wolf are top two.   And then the next three are Cardiac, Swarm and Will O' the Wisp - or Stegron, depends on the day.

But Cardiac is one of my favorite 90's Spidey villain additions and I sure wish we could get a figure.

Cardiac would make for an amazing figure. Really hope they get to him sooner than later.

U-Man I'd also be happy to get, sans symbol. I remember laughing out loud the first time I saw him on the page - it's just such a classicly ridiculous, silly comic book costume - with the bright colors, head fins, scales, the initial of his name, pirate boots - and then just a swastika right in the middle of it all. I don't think the intention of the design was to make Nazis look ridiculous, but it certainly succeeds in doing that.

I would be down for U-Man.   Easy enough to remove the Nazi symbol from a figure and just leave it a blank red.

Cardiac was never a big villain for me personally but I think the outfit is great (especially the Erik Larsen era).   I could go for either the original look or the more modern look (not the last couple pics though).

HUGE yes to Aragorn! I need a classic Valkyrie to ride atop this majestic steed!

I wouldn't say no to a U-Man...always good to have some Ratzis for the heroes to punch!

Yes to Cardiac. He's got a cool look, and I'd like to have him with my Spidey Rogues.
