It's a total double dip situation. They know it, we know it and they know we know it.

The double dip could have been with this figure alone. I would have purchased 2 of them to add Carol to my Korvac Saga Avengers and Karla to the Dark Avengers. I have no doubt the classic version will eventually appear, probably on an Avengers Retro Card or in a BAF wave (thin figure packaged with the biggest BAF piece). I'll still be double dipping, just 2-3 years later.

As I alluded to in my initial post, it's also gonna be a "we heard you and we're so gracious we're getting you what you want because we listen to the fans" even though they've known darn well we've wanted the Carol version for a long time now.

I'm just being salty, but it's shenanigans like this that irritate me.

A classic Ms. Marvel would be a purchase.  What they put out today is a pass.

Ravonna Renslayer is a pass for me.

I'd buy a brighter 70's Ms. Marvel.

Don’t really have much use for 70s Ms. Marvel (my current Carol want is her Jen Bartel look), but if they included an alternate Superia head like they SHOULD HAVE for Moonstone, I’d absolutely buy it.

I’ll buy any version of Ms. Marvel!

I would want a Ravonna like she appeared in Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

70's Ms. Marvel, 70's Daimon Hellstrom (cape and boots), 70's Moondragon (no 90's thong), 70's Beast (Perez head), 70's Dracula (Gene Colan inspired)

I'd buy this as a set, or as a wave of individual figures! Heck, make it a six figure wave with first appearance Blade and I'm all in!

Day #1051 - Zapata Brothers, plus Captain Ultra (Archive Day #352)

Forget about the EOV - we need the Zapata Brothers Monster Truck!

Probable pass on the Zapata Brothers (although those figures with a Legends monster truck would be really fun).

Captain Ultra is a definite yes! He's a fun D-list character who would REALLY REALLY REALLY stand out on the shelf.

Captain Ultra/Jack of Hearts 2-pack would be the most epic thing Hasbro could ever do.

Definitely don't need a pair of Luchadors and if I did I could just buy some of the Mattel WWE or AEW figures to stand in I think.   I would be annoyed if these guys took up slots in the Legends line at this stage.

As for Captain Ultra - he's sort of over the top, ridiculous and garish enough that he'd be a fun figure to have.   I wouldn't say he's a need, but if he got made as some sort of convention or vendor exclusive I'd want him.   Maybe he should be their Online Comic Subscription exclusive figure...   unique enough to drive a few new people to the sub -  out there enough for a lot of people not to feel a hole in their collection if they didn't get him.

Zapata Brothers could be fun, but I won't lose sleep not having them.

Captain Ultra, on the other hand, would be a real standout on the shelf. And @beamish: a Jack-of-Hearts/Cpt Ultra two-pack is a paint apps dream come true.

Definitely could go for the Zapata brothers from pic 1,5 or 6.   They are a fun set of characters and if they managed a Monster truck all the better.   Though in all fairness they are not a top want so I am good without them as well.

Captain Ultra from the MU Handbook is the look I want.   Not sure I would go out of my way to get him, but would be hard to resist if made.

The Zapata Bros aren’t huge wants of mine.  I’d consider them if they got made, particularly if Hasbro had him given us an el Muerte figure.  I wouldn’t really miss them if they never got made though.

Captain Ultra.. CAPTAIN *freaking* ULTRA!!  He’s been in my top ten for seemingly forever.  A huge want of mine, so a definite YES!  His classic costume preferred.  C’mon Hasbro.  I dare you!  A Captain Ultra / Jack of Hearts two pack would be awesome, so long as they’re dedicated figures and not phoned in.  C’mon.. pretty please.. with a cherry on top.
