Not interested in the Wimpy Wrecking Crew and I’m not sure I need updates to the old ones either to be honest.

This works for me.  Although I do like the Wrecking Crew I already have.

The idea of a junior Wrecking Crew is adorable. The designs are cool enough. But if I had to choose, it would be a redo of the original WC. I loved completing the original set, but getting them on updated bodies would be great.

Day #1009 - Radian/Phaser, plus Mandarin (Archive Day #314)

This is the type of entry why I love this thread. The chat and debate as to which Mandarin costume is preferred is gonna be great!

Raidan/Phaser is Tattoo/Longstrike's brother from the other day. I hate to break up a family...

Sure!  I’d love a ST original series phaser replica.  It would make a fun display piece.  I could display it with Captain K…..

oh.  Wrong Phaser.  He’d be a pass for me.

Mandarin on the other hand, is very much in need of an update.  The old traffic cone just doesn’t cut it.  Nostalgia value aside, any Mandarin with with a letter “M” is just not very true to the character’s cultural history.  The robed looks have proved problematic for Hasbro.  We don’t need him on a boring suit body.  This narrows the looks down a bit, at least for me.  I’m still of the mind that the AoV armored look, or the animated series look (with an actual human skin tone) seem like the better choices.

A quick sure, why not to Phaser....  I like the costumed look from images 3-6 rather than the school kid outfit in the first two pics though. 

As for Mandarin - yes for sure we need him.   Probably more than one if I'm being honest.   

My most preferred look for the figure (and this may not be too popular) is the Acts of Vengeance armor

I honestly think the earlier costumes are pretty good except for the ultra stoopid "M" in the middle of the chest.   It's such a dumb conceit.    That costume in image 2 is pretty great if it didn't have that "M" emblazoned on his chest...'does that stand for moron?'   

If they don't got with the silver and blue armor version then my next favorite is image 7 -  at least the "M" moved to his belt in that one...   after that image 14 would be good... then honestly the bare chested version in image 11,  then 16 and then 2 and then I can leave all the rest on the bin.

So in order of preference     12, 7, 14, 11, 16, 2 ....   but what we'll get next is the stupid green skinned cartoon/toy biz version

I might truly be the ONLY one, but I'm actually still fine with the Toy Biz Face Off version of Mandarin. Now I'll still almost certainly buy whatever comic version update that Hasbro inevitably does, but it's certainly not as high on my list as it is for others.

Would love Radian - I'd take him in any look, but getting the Omega Gang would be kinda incredible.

I'll definitely get whatever updated Mandarin they eventually make, but this is where I'm at. Mandarin just doesn't have a single solid definitive costume - and those he has are pretty blah. The "Acts of Vengeance" armor is pretty cool, but it's far from iconic, and only barely works as a Mandarin costume. One of the robed looks is really the best way to go for Mandarin, but it also has the distinct disadvantage of being the worst for an action figure.

Absolutely want a Mandarin.  If they went for a more classic green/purple look, I would prefer the Mandarin in the 7th picture.  While I think the robed look is more iconic, I would rather the Mandarin could actually get into a few poses other than just standing. 

That said, I actually really like the Mandarin they made for the 3 3/4 inch Iron Man line back when the MCU movies were big.  That green armored samurai look would make a very cool Legend. 

HUGE NO to any green skinned Mandarin.

Acts of Vengeance armor would be my first choice, but I don't think he has any truly terrible costumes which is odd considering how many he's had.

I'd get a few of the Classic looks, for Mandarin. :3 The other character, sure, why not.

I'm pretty much down for any version of Mandarin, as long as he doesn't have green skin. 

Pass on Radial...or Radiator...or whatever the heck his name is.

A 90s animated Mandarin in a retro card maybe the best way to go. That or a green robe Mandarin.
