I'd be a pass on both today.

Yes to Speed.  And more Young Avengers.  And Great Lakes Avengers.  And Avengers in general.

Young Avengers are a huge want, so hell yes for Speed!

Meridius is new to me. He's got a cool look, and I'd read his appearances if a figure got made. I like the idea of Venom having some more of his own universe in toy form (beyond just "symbiote-ized" versions of other characters).

As for today’s entries.. it feels like a big fall from yesterday’s awesome 1000th entry, but I would pass on today’s offerings.  

Today is a double pass for me.  Don't know Meridius.  And not collecting the Young Avengers.

I would buy both but Speed would be the priority of the two.

Neither is a huge want but I'd probably pick up both. Although maybe only on sale.

So -  here’s the deal with Kang.

I don’t need all of those alternate looks… or any of them really.   However, since it’s naïve to think he’ll never hit the line again, if an when he does I do hope it’s one of the alternate presentations -   a caped version might be nice.   One of the armored versions might be OK.   Not a big fan of the business suit version.     A lady Kang could be fun I guess. 

Victor Timely is just a boring old guy in a suit -  so, probably easy enough for them to do but very low on the list of versions I’d want or need.

He Who Remains is a shriveled old freak in a robe so would not make a particularly dynamic figure.   I wouldn’t pass on him but his again low on the list of versions I’d want.

A new updated Iron Lad though would be most welcome.   The Young Avengers set is showing it’s age and upgrades for all of them are needed.   I would take this one gladly.

Rama Tut – Now we’re getting somewhere.   This is a definite want.   This version of the Kang/Immortus identify circuit is super fun.     I would love to have a good Rama Tut figure on my shelf.

Scarlet Centurion -  Another no brainer want.   This is another of the major Kang identities that I definitely want in figure form.   Great character in a fun look.    Absolutely a major want for my collection.

Immortus -  of course.   Probably the second most important of Kang’s identities.   I definitely need an Immortus figure for my Avengers shelf. 

If I had to rank ii in terms of wants it would be   Immortus, Rama Tut, Scarlet Centurion,  Iron Lad,  Lady Kang  / Armored Kang,  Victor Timely, He Who Remains,  other Kang variants ….  With the slash representing the cutoff between those I actually hope get made and those I don’t care if they get made.

Whoo boy that is A LOT of Avengers characters I would buy in a hearbeat.    Hasbro sure can keep taking my money if they want to.

Meridius -    Unfamiliar with the character.    I have to say the design is intriguing and he would make a nice looking figure and I would buy it if they made it into a Legends figure.

Speed -  yep.    Need Wiccan’s twin brother on the shelf for sure.    The poor kid got left out of the Young Avengers box set back in the day and so needs to be represented even more than his brother and the others do.

Yes to Speed. As I said previously, and at risk of sounding like a broken record, the Young Avengers are one of the more baffling absences in the line under Hasbro.

Yes to Speed! The rest of the Young Avengers, too.

Not familiar with Meridius, but that’s a cool look and a cool sounding premise, so yes. 

Day #1002 - Zoe Culloden, plus Hulkling (Archive Day #311C)

I'd get both. 🙂 Especially Expediter. 🙂

Pass on Zoe (zero idea who this is), would pick up a Hulkling in the original look.
