I'm not familiar with Switchback, so that's a pass. But I'm in for a classic Dominic Fortune for sure. I mean, add a Devil-Slayer into that and we can subtly start building an Atlas/Seaboard character display. 😉
No idea who either Switchback is. Looks aren't that interesting so pass.
I would pick up a classic Dominic Fortune.

OK, man. You're really testing my limits on that previous bold assertion about being "all in" on mutant characters. Both Switchback characters are a real stretch - the first one (female) appeared only in an Age of Apocalypse alternate universe story and hasn't shown up since in the regular - main - universe or timeline. Her powerset is weird - she can time travel back in time exactly 10 seconds - so can instantly redo particular actions. Anyway, she doesn't feel much like a figure I need in particular.
And the second Switchback (male) is a former Weapon X subject who appeared in one issue of Iron Man... I mean, that feels pretty low priority. And his look, just a dude in hiking gear with a half mask? Feels even lower priority.
Dominic Fortune on the other hand - I'd take a figure of that dude for sure. I first remember coming across him in Marvel Team Up (#120, I think?) but then found some of his other appearances. He'd make a fun figure and the parts mostly already exist.
I'd get them all. Switchback 1 looks neat, and Fortune Dominic is a must.
It's been awhile since the shoebox put forth someone I have no clue about and today it gave me two with the same name! I'd be in for Dominic Fortune though, red heart a must.
Pass on the Switchbacks. Never heard of em.
Dominic would have to be pinless + look pretty much exactly like he does on that Iron Man 213 cover. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste a penny on him.
So - here's how both one-hit wonder Switchbacks ended up being featured today, and a little peek into the madness that is Beamish's mind...
In the past, whenever we did wishlists or a Top 10 anything, I'd make shoebox cards for any character that appeared. At some point, one of you or a former Fwoosher had the AOA Switchback in a wishlist or poll.
I actually still add shoebox cards, but they are usually for new characters, MCU/film versions or somebody that I completely forgot about.
I love my C and D listers, but I try to stay away from one-offs as the sole featured "new" One A Day, unless they are part of a team/group, are in the "same name" category, or make sense for a theme day. I personally had no idea who AOA Switchback was, and in my research today I found that there was another Switchback.

Switchback 1 would make great fodder for a few customs I have lined up.
Like others I have no idea who either Switchback is and the looks are bland. Pass.

I guess the 80s look on that Iron Man cover would be the best/easiest to get done. However I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a Howard Chaykin version if the ML team could ever get artist specific looks done. His Dominic Fortune art from his most recent appearance is gold to me and I would love that version first and foremost.
