Wasn't Clay on American Idol 😉
Anyway today is a double pass for me.
Pass on both today
Double pass for me as well.
While a Quinjet could make for a fun prop or playset, the scale would be ridiculous, and I’d hate to even speculate at the price point. With the bulk of the craft being engine, and other mechanical systems, there would just be room for the five seated figures in the front. Unless Hasbro wants to take liberties with the interior design and incorporate things like a medical station, a cell, a weapons rack, or a research station, to make it more of a playset, I’m not certain how marketable it would be at the likely price point they would charge for it. Then there’s the matter of the space it would take up.
I think something more along the lines of Pym’s “Rover” would be all around more practical.
So, ideally, I’d say yes, but practically, I don’t see it working out.
I'd love this, but size and price point would be an issue. It would likely need to be a 1 or 2 seater and be under-scaled to be at all realistic.
Yes, especially the comic book accurate one.
Absolutely yes to a classic comic Quinjet (the first few pictures). Zero interest in more modern designs. But yeah, the price point would be insane, and the scale as well. I actually translated a Quinjet into 1:12 scale and laid it out once. It's still friggin' huge.
I still have a lot of fondness for the 2012 movie Quinjet but like others said, price and size are too much.
I'm also in the camp of would love a classic comic version, but size and price don't make it feasible. As a kid this doubled as my Quinjet:
The kid in me would love a classic Quinjet. The adult in me says I have no room or $ for a ML Quinjet. I have to save my room for larger characters that I desire like a Galactus, Sentinel, Giant Man and hopefully a future classic Surtur, Fing Fang Foom, Frost Giant and upcoming Dragon Man.
I'm okay not having a quintet. If I were going to get a large, expensive Avengers item I'd rather get an Avengers mansion facade to display characters in front of.
I would absolutely love, and cave for, an 80s comic Quinjet. It would be a no questions asked type of buy for me.
However that is where it starts and ends for me. I had the MCU releases and sold them because I just didn't love them enough to keep them. Same would go for any future release that isn't the 80s comic version.
Comic book Liz and Tazerface would be cool. 😀
